I found the book I was looking for at Amazon. It is a book by an author named Hiscox and was published in 1934 and is currently out of print. The title of the book is "Henley's twentieth century book of formulas, processes and trade secrets: Containing ten thousand selected household, workshpe and scientific formulas...recipes, processes and money saving ideas."

I did see the link and took a look at the book, but it wasn't the one I have seen in the past. It sounds like it was the one that the poster was looking for, however.

Sorry, I did see the date of the posting and was hoping that maybe, maybe the poster would still be in contact and would have the information.

Did you have any luck in finding the title? author? or publisher? of the big book of industrial formulas? Jene
