its actually more of a kinase signalling system. its called mTOR (mammalian homolog: Tor2). its supposed to activate/modulate autophagosome formation in autophagy. I wanna see the effects of some stuff on this "pathway" or i dunno if its even a gene. you can check some background info on it (paper: Klionsky D. Emr J. Autophagy as a Regulated Pathway of Cellular Degradation Science 2000 Volume???) Say its a gene, can you test the effect of gene activation? Thankyou.

say if you used a cytokine or a gas to test its effect on the kinase.

I was supposed to attend the AP Chem one but I didn't go and it covers the first 4 chapters, the teacher's giving me the notes for independent study. Do you think it's too tough to "self-teach"?

how does osmoregulation (the process) function in living osmoregulators and osmoconformers, and why is it important to these organisms? What factors affect osmoregulation other than salt/ solute concentration? oh.. and how does osmoregulation affect body volume? THANNKS!

ok then. if i wanted to detect the activation of for example the Tor2 kinase by some kind of gas (eg./ H2O2) or a cytokine (eg./ IL-4) in yeast cells then what kind of protocol/assay method would I need to use to find out?

lol. you don't need to be too worried, girls don't really care THAT much about height, i mean as long as they are average and not too short its alright. there are other things that we pay much more attention to.

and what do they have to do with genes? are they gene activators? because i came upon an article that had a format similar to this. or could you just decode the meaning of this table. are the things listed (such as Tor2, mTor etc..) genes or kinases? thanks!!!! ok, i've never taken a physics class before and have NO basic knowledge, so i was reading a book that mentioned maxwell's demon and how he just made up that thought experiment. well how can ppl just make up an experiment when they have no experimental evidence to support it?
