Thanks a lot ecoli, that helped quite a bit! Gene patents sure have fired up some interesting legal disputes.

This isn't exactly homework, but I am looking for good sites that describe specific results (preferably negative) of patenting genes among the lives of everyday people. I've already done quite a bit of research, and at this point I'm looking for personal cases that can help me make a more emotion based argument. I'm looking for cases similar to the Genae Gerard case, perhaps to do with the patenting of GMOs. Thanks for any help!
