I don't know much about the mathematics of chance but hear this out. What is the chance of this... You are using a message board with say, 20 other active users and 100 inactive anonymous users. All of the users are located within free countries... U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, etc Nobody uses their photo. Nobody has identified themselves openly on the message board. And then one user posts a topic with a real photo of himself as his avatar. Another user sees that photo and thirty minutes later, at his place of work, somebody walks in who looks exactly and precisely like the person in that photo. Would you say this was a coincidence or intentional? Is it a lookalike or the same person? If coincidence, using the math of statistical chance to find your answer, what are the chances? Remember, how much space is covered in the locations and the timing of thirty minutes between photo seen and coincidence of sighting.

What does fur offer animals? Climate/temperature would seem to play a factor but isn't true accross the animal kingdom. For example, all bears have fur. A polar bears' fur is adapted for colder icy climate. Mountain bears are found all over the world and far enough south where the climate is hot to determine that they keep their fur not merely for the warmth. Fur protects against small damages such as scratches and accumulates dirt, keeping mud from sticking close to the skin. Fur also provides camouflage and in some species changes color season to season. In the chance of a lesion the hair can stick inside the wound increasing blood coagulation and strengthening the scab. I see the coat of fur more as a protectant against small skin injuries and infections such as staff. Ticks and lice love fur so theres some drawback. In early humans fur must have provided them the same advantages but as they became more intelligent they were able to avoid certain hardships that other animals arent mentally prepared to discern and parry. So look at a simple task such as running through a wooded thicket. If a deer runs through the thicket they may do so at several times the speed of a human and crash through bushes and snap low branches of trees. A deer has no arms so he cannot move stuff out of the way. When a human walks upright her hands are free to move branches out of the way and she is free to vertically navigate obstacles and not stomp through the thicket with minimal attention. I apologize that I took this off subject, the point about fur loss seems closely related to walking upright.

is Magic possible and does it have anything to do with science?

Thats what makes something magic. The lack of evidence -
Soon following making this thread the leak seemed to have ended. Sorry, can't talk about that, but also I delete a ton of system code related to wireless connection and anything with the key word "wifi" with few exceptions. So, I must have deleted the right code because if making this thread didn't stop the leak then what I deleted did. Theres a bunch of code left to delete ( I was going to manually delete a ton of stuff anyways ) but the issue seems smoothed out for now. Plus, I am going to purchase the appropriate screwdriver set to take the HP apart and disconnect the antennae as suggested and carefully remove the wifi card and put those away in a safe box somewhere, maybe I will build a wifi device for fun with them some day down the road.

I couldn't have said that better. There is absolutely no such thing as magic and the believe in magic is a leftover of early human development. Science is killing magic. -
Could be our nervous systems function more efficiently without fur. Also, your skin is more sensitive to the touch on parts of your body that are hairless in contrast with the harrier parts because the hair follicles decentralize and soften the pressure when contacted. A hallmark of higher intelligence is attention to detail and deeper sensitivities. The more sensitive they were physically to detail the more apt they were to be observant and able to process information, heightening their chance of intelligence gain. Look at earths most intelligent mammals. Elephants and dolphins and whales are at the top of that list and all of them are hairless for the most part. There's plenty of hairy animals in that hot climate, so, temperature isn't likely a factor, or else Paleolithic Europeans would have gained fur for warmth. Mediterranean humans are generally hairrier than Northern Europeans. Maybe its the wind that fur is most concerned with.

They arent always installed that way. I bought a compaq laptop in 2016 to use as a word processor and it was buggy and easily compromised when all my encrypted emsil account passwords were taken and all my saves were erased. I opened it up with assistance from a computer hardware site and found the card that was used for the satellite connection (there was no wifi) was fused with another piece of hardware and there was some sodering used to hold parts of the frame together, so in order to remove it I would have needed a sodering gun and specialized tools to remove the card. I cant renember what they called it. Im using my phone to access the internet on my paid for connection. And my phone is thoroughly compromised. Smartphones are the least secure gadgets ever created. Its funny how everyone always tries to shut you up when you talk about heightening security and talk about what hackers do. In a hackers paradise no house would have doors and everbody would share a bed.
-
There must be some central code connected with the antanae or wifi card or network adapters that if were deleted or corrupted there would be no possibility of a back door hack. The wifi on my phone is always off (at least thats what it shows) but perhaps a hacker can discreetly manipulate and use the wifi anyways without it showing in the settings display and through close proximity with my computer, able to use the laptop hardware to connect my devices and read the contents of my computer. Im a hardcore believer in "just because the pill button says it is off doesnt mean a hacker isnt using it". If you aren't doing anything questionable and you arent privy to any significant secret knowledge then why should you be targeted for countless hacks and privacy invasions? Why dont they leave the little guys alone?
-
I tried this before and the satellite card was amalgamated into another piece of hardware and was impossible to remove. I must go buy some screw drivers now.

Brand new computer. I disabled the Realtek network adapters, this should, in theory, prevent any and all backdoor hacking into my computer. Although I have done this the information on my computer such as the text that I write is being leaked into the internet in basically real time. This means that spyware was pre-installed onto this computer that allows a secondary internet connection. Does anyone know how to permanently and fully disable and/or corrupt the wireless software and network adapters so that no connection is possible at all, no matter what, through any spyware means? Thanks. I might have to open up the computer and remove all applicable hardware.
-
I did the switch from Windows 10 S(tupid) to Windows 10 Home, accepted all updates and downloads, all this through wifi. Then immediatey disabled the Realtek wireless adapter. Now wifi is disabled, cannot randomly activate but I want to corrupt the wireless so that there is no possibility at all of a connection. I might remove the card physically but they dont make that so easy anymore, I tried that once on a laptop three years ago and the damn thing was impossible to remove without damaging the computer. No internet connection. Like 1992 all over again.

I figured as much. Updating this can be risky as I must use wifi because I dont have a landline modem.

That's an interesting thought, item for item, in what order did each mutation occur in human physical morphology and what changes were the catalyst for new changes? Suppose that lack of fur inspired early humans to make clothing. Then you could ponder what inspired the chromosomes to remove fur? Was it a spark of intelligence in the human brain that pushed the mutation subconsciously? Like, the ape didn't consciously think, hey I think I will lose my fur, the early human brain put two and two together and said well, this ape could do so much more but he needs some motivation. So, the mutation happens and one day an ape was born naked and right away he was like man I need to cover up because man its chilly. The loss of fur was likely a gradual process anyways. Have you ever wore a sweat band or a beanie down to your eyebrows? Imagine a permanent sweat band you could never remove. That would make you irate after a while. And thats essentially what having fur on your face is like.

My previous laptop had Windows 10 Home pre-installed and that version was trash but this Windows 10 S has an even worse discrepancy, you cannot access apps that are part of the operating system until you "switch out your Windows at the Store". I tried to open regedit and the error message is "For security and performance, this mode of Windows only runs verified apps from the store." "Still want to run this unverified app? see how" You press "see how" and you get linked to the Microsoft store. Im trying to avoid linking to the web or activating wifi, in fact I was entering regedit to disable my wireless card. What a hypocrisy. (regedit is part of the windows operating system but you cant use regedit because windows cannot verify it) I turned on developer mode and that didn't unblock regedit. The explanation is that 10 S mode is the safest way to operate windows as malware cannot be installed no matter what. Thats great, nice idea, but disable regedit and Word/Office because I dont want the use the internet? Since when did Word and the internet become so inseparably entwined? I will stick to notepad. Windows was awesome years ago but now this junk has gotten out of hand.

That is exactly what I originally thought and all along the whole time since this became a huge media subject they keep playing it off as though simply observing the particles changes them, even reputable sources. They seem to purposely sidestep explaining that it is the method of observation, the equipment and physical circumstance required to observe the particles that changes them. And it does create this belief that our brains and eyes have some sort of magical power, so people do things with this belief in mind such as (when someone isn't looking). But their belief is rooted in a falsehood like so many other beliefs.

"Quantum states are detectable but by the law of quantum mechanics, once we observe a quantum state, it changes. Nice thing is entanglement means we only have to observe one of the particles to sense the state of the others but its not two way data transfer, not yet." Trace Dominguez with Seeker "It's common to all ways of understanding quantum mechanics that I know of that observation is a sort of irreducibly violent process." Physicist David Albert on Nour Foundation "When a quantum "observer" is watching Quantum mechanics states that particles can also behave as waves. ... In other words, when under observation, electrons are being "forced" to behave like particles and not like waves. Thus the mere act of observation affects the experimental findings." Science Daily in Google search How Does Observing Particles Influence Their Behavior? https://futurism.com/how-does-observing-particles-influence-their-behavior Three Tricks Physicists Use To Observe Quantum Behavior https://www.forbes.com/sites/chadorzel/2016/08/11/three-tricks-physicists-use-to-observe-quantum-behavior/amp/ So, this observer effect in quantum physics seems sketchy in explanation. The effect can happen with just a static object in near enough proximity to the particle to change its behavior. Additionally, the same effect happens when a human, specifically a human, observes the particle without physically interracting with it. So, my question is, is it really the act of observing that changes the particle or is it the method of observation required to observe the particle that changes it? As I understand it you need microscopes and particle accelerators, mirrors and slitted panels, and a high speed camera or other sensory instrument so that you can observe a quantum particle. Can someone more specifically and in finer detail explain all physical circumstances of making and observing a quantum particle?

"Coincidentally" a few minutes ago I found that someone got in one my locked storages yet again, you think its the same gay? I wonder what they took this time or how long it was hanging open. The thing about these bitches is they kick you when your down over and over again but for themselves in their own priveledged lives they will never go through downs of their own, their lives are one big easy up from start to finish. They don't have real problems so, to see what real problems look like, to see what its like to have downs like this, they kick you when your down. Thats why they break into my storages all the time thats why they are obsessed with taking my valuables from me. Life is a big up for them, so at my expense they get some real insight into what being down looks like. Must be awesome being them, huh? wink Like, the worst problem they could ever have is their bank doesn't have enough cash on hand for that 10,000 dollar withdrawal. So they break into my things and cause me property damage. What do I do to them? Absolutely nothing, ever.

The point of this thread was missed. I didn't learn much about what the other posters thoughts are as everyone just wants cited documents and really, there isn't much to provide.

I’VE HAD A CYBERSTALKER SINCE I WAS 12 Stalkers using bugging devices and spyware to monitor victims The Reality Of Having A Stalker A cyber stalker and hacker has ruined my life for two years and counting. How do you deal with internet hackers turned real life stalkers? I posted links to most prominent cases given with Google search to give a good idea of what methods stalkers might use to torment their victims and outline the seriousness of such behaviour. So, say you met someone on a message board or perhaps you didn't converse with them but they saw your posts. Now, they have a personal photo on their avatar supposedly of themselves. A few days later and you're at work. A potential customer steps inside and you tell yourself hey he looks so familiar like I saw him before but then think nothing of it. The next day you see him once again and think the same thing, wondering, where do I recognize this guy from? Then all the sudden later that day you see that particular poster on the message board once again and you realize that the man in the picture and the customer that you recognized at work are one and the same. There's no mistake about it. If that isn't him then it's his identical twin. You ponder the chances of such a coincidence. You wonder, is he stalking me? You think to yourself this has to be a coincidence, why would anyone do such a thing, especially to me? I don't know this guy, I didn't do anything to him. You can't do much about it or really find out more about him to ease your paranoia so you keep it ever present in your mind in case more related eeriness develops. Another day later and some crazy shit that you never had to deal with starts happening. You are entering the mind of a stalker. There's a note on your front porch. The note doesn't have your name on it and it doesn't say anything related to what your doing or your life. The note seems random right? Like the wind blew it there. You feel uneasy about the note anyways. Then you walk down your driveway about to walk to the corner store and notice your mailbox is open and the little red plastic flag is up. You look inside the mailbox and theres nothing in it. You close the mailbox and go to the store. You get home and theres a lone single muddy footprint on your porch. It wasnt there when you left. Theres no other footprints. Theres no mud. You were gone 15 to 20 minutes. It starts to dawn on you that someone is trying to mess with your mental stability and cause some emotional disruption. You have 0 experience with stalking and never would have thought it would happen to you. You wonder who it could be. Your mind draws a blank, then you remember, what about that strange guy on that forum who showed up to your workplace twice? You go on the message board to check out his profile, not knowing what else you could do. So you get his profile up and find no real information about him but you read his latest posts and the last post he made mentioned a mailbox in it and used the name of the street you live on! Except he didn't use the word in the context of a street, he used your street name in a different context. You start to get spooked. You know you're not crazy, you're not imagining these things. You wonder, what can you do. You have no evidence that someone is stalking you, all you have are these clues that don't really point to real evidence of a stalker. You know you can't report it without more information about the stalker and better evidence other than mind game clues. So you decide to lock your doors and watch the message board closely. Your phone rings with an unfamiliar number. You answer but the line is silent. The message board user continues to post in several topics. You read all of the posts and within every post is another little nerve wracking clue related to something off. He mentions "footprint"! He mentions a trip to the gas station on a corner. He mentions a prank call. Now, mind you, he's saying these things to someone else in a manner that makes it appear like hes trying to tease you like he knows you're watching him on the message board. You are getting more and more spooked each time he mentions something that somehow relates to you personally or where you live. You look at other topics and count words to check if maybe its just probability that certain recognizeable phrases and words will coincidentally relate to you that closely. You see the numbers dont add up you start to become convinced that this guy is a hacker and hes stalking you and teasing you at the same time. This was a true story about a friend of mine who told me about this yesterday. I told him to call the cops and he said, "I can't do that, they'll think I'm crazy." If this were you, in what manner would you act in this situation? Also, what I forgot to include in this topic... In this situation, how would a hacker be able to locate where you live using your message board profile? How can joining a message board on your desktop computer allow for a hacker to find the location of your house?

Fair enough. Obviously this topic means something to many of the posters here but there isnt a whole lot of research done about the political nature of scientists. I will do another more extensive search for web articles on the matter and share whatever might be of value on this thread.
-
1. I don't follow football so I don't get the analogy. 2. 100% of the time. 1. The people that own the media companies choose the content and the overall message. It isn't a "free press". Most news agencies are privately owned. 2. Nearly every science article that I read is a report or derivative of a University journal or a government program. The only sources that I noticed thusfar to regularly report science news that isn't governmental in nature is CNN and C-SPAN. 3. Exactly what I wrote. 4. Politicians don't count because its their purpose to get public attention. Look below the politicians and note who spends more time out in public when money isn't changing hands. And remember, before "The Apprentice" Donald Trump rarely did media interviews or made huge public appearances, he always worked hard at his company and spent his time off privately. Now that I've spent all day defending my intelligence does anyone want to discuss the topic I brought to attention? And remember just because there isn't published source to quote from doesn't mean it isn't true.

In the cases that an evil autocrat takes control their reign is usually short. (Hitler, Caligula, Julius Caesar)

I see what you mean, but there isn't an abundance of material on science and politics to allow for a ton of specialization. Scientists generally don't touch politics. I noticed that any political leaning articles in science publications are usually always written by that publications' journalists as they use scientists findings to support their propaganda. You don't see a lot of the political concerns coming straight from the scientists themselves. They seem to be used much in the same way by the journalists that the government uses them. So I suppose the heart of this issue is A. Why are scientists found to be overwhelmingly Democrat or Independent? B. Should politicians be able to force scientists to share their findings for free, universally and what does this mean for private corporations that employ scientists? I imagine that Europe doesn't have as much bad relation between scientists and politicians compared with America. If you pay for something you should get it. I have no idea. Since the DoD has a revolving door in the leader positions the scientists they employ probably stay apolitical and just do their work. So I would say Independent. If a scientist at such a high level with a lifetime contract or a long term contract had a very strong political opinion their employ would be a bumpy ride because every 5 years you got a new boss whose political affiliation is different than the one before him.
-
1. So, before the present system, scientists were forced to publish in specific journals that weren't of their own choice? I think the present system should stay intact and plus, what highly educated scientist wouldn't want their work in a fancy high end journal? You'd think they'd want to avoid low end junk. 2. But it wouldn't make sense to people who aren't publicly funded and would cost them a great deal more money.
