I've been noticing Acesulfame K used in more foods and drinks. I have been wondering about this because I have been taking it in with consumption of goods. Now my questions is: is this a sugar alcohol? According to the Atkin's Nutrional Approach, you are not suppose to take in large amounts of things such as aspartame or sugar and that it is ok to take in limited amounts of sugar alcohols. So, I question if this Acesulfame K has an effect on blood sugar making the body slow down the metabolic acceleration process while going on Atkin's. I can't find much information on the web about it's sugar alcohol simile

It's control. I think something that gets me is why people kill prostitutes.

I've taken chemistry, I don't get the analogies. I think i get the top part, not the bonds though. Flirting?

I believe there is a version of a webserver for windows called CIS, I remember using it, so I know one exists. Other than that, what are you hosting? I actually prefer using some cheap tricks to host stuff. Oh no, I'm giving away a web secret!! Anyways, I'll host just about everything off imageshack.us, convert documents to .swf link up other movies within .swf basically, it's a whole flash site. You can host a whole flashsite off imageshack. Images also, it's so simple. I mean if it's a program that rakes in money, then you should have enough money to buy a new server..... of course.... But if it's opensource, I'm sure you can find some free servers to to put the files in. Maybe you could host opensource on sourceforce w/e it is.. *forgets*

Can no one else build on this? I still have no freaking clue as to what introspection is.

I'm wondering more about the system Wilhelm Wundt created and developed. I don't understand the system of introspection he created. Would an example of it be tapping into a part of your brain by doing an event and hoping that you will encounter a new behavior that is beyond rational for the current situation/event you are doing? edit perhaps it has to do with how different parts of the body perceive something. Such as, what emotion and behavior does my soul/body convert to as I see the light? As I feel the light? As I breath the light? EDIT 2 Or could it perhaps be how you see yourself in reality. How you see yourself as a person and describing outloud what you think of your actions and what you think of your life. Somewhat like how a person is asking, "how do you feel?" And when the person replies, they go into depth about their emotion and sense of reality at the time.

What is the price difference and time/energy payoff? How long until the price comes down to about $150 USD for a 15 inch?

It would help to list what type of experience you already have in physics and what your expectations and long term/short term goals are.

I've been having trouble understanding what introspection is exactly. I can't really tell what it is in psychology. Is it about feeling out how your body senses something, while tracing the inflicted part to the brain? I don't quite understand. Does anyone know a descriptive site, other than wiki/google, that tells me about introspection in detail?

I'm not stupid. I was just replying to what GB means. GigaByte. I understand the system of: 8 bits = Byte 4 bits = nibble And if there was a uni that offered 3 GB, that would crazy! However, I like to believe anything is possible. Anyways, my College offers about 3MB/s per computer connection. Sometimes they'll split the bandwidth or take away or add to. Some crazy weird system my college has. Could be the leech the staff told me earlier this year.

3 gigabytes a second downloads. Basically you can download a ripped DVD movie in a second or so. That's power.

I usually get sick if I go off my Atkin's diet. I like to think that sugar feeds bacteria and bacteria grow better because of sugar. So.. if you take in more sugar, you allow more bacteria in your body to grow, thus you will get sick. When I'm on Atkins, I don't get sick. I haven't been sick for 8 months now. I'm doing pretty awesome. However, I'm very, very hungry most of the time and I can't get over it. I guess my metabolism kicked back in. I have experienced problems with flatuence however they seem to be related to some odd movements and feelings of the stomach. I may have experienced some odd gastral effects but nothing too serious.

Genetics are passed on no doubt. I assume it's the metabolic rate configuration. The reason most Americans are obese is become they don't weight lift or else actually use something like Atkin's. I think Atkin's was conspired against because of it's great effectiveness. I've lost 180+ lbs on it. It works, I've done it. Lots of people never read the book so they don't know what they are doing.

Basically it's a form of chemistry that is being researched to this day. It has to do with things at the atomic level. EEETY BITTY TINY LITTLE molecules and the chemistry of them. Not only that, but it also has to do with the chemical bonds between cells and how those bonds are related to each other through chemical elements. A part of this chemistry has to do with nanotechnology and cybernetics in the future more so.

I've only found things that seem to clump everything together.. no one has seemed to want to create something on proboards or anything...

ose like in sugar? sucralose...

Well, it could be possible to reverse, however, I would be iffy about doing it. Your bones decomposing? not good. Anything is possible in genetics the more we go into to it. I believe that radiation will play a big factor in all of this. You would have to replace a lot of cells and alter their dna a little bit. When I'm thinking about cells interacting with each, I think about how they would react to a cell with almost the same DNA.. Hi, I'm windows 95, I'm a lot better than windows ME, and for that reason I don't want to change... yeah.. the cells aren't going to be too happy. but with some radiation, multiplication of cells, something could probably happen. I would think that a person should wait until their done growing.. probably 30s. and then try to reverse age. however I think your age would keep reversing, so you would have to find a way to bring your age back up again. However, the body is quite the amazing thing to find a resistance to things. Eventually that method will disappear. But i'm guessing cybernetics will walk in right about then.

I don't know how to say it.. dee oxey rhybo sss new klee ick acid. i dunno.. after learning multiple languages my brain is scattered. someone got a soundwave?

I read somwhere that there was a good amount of gold in there that you could pawn off and get more money than you paid for the smoke detector.. but it's not possible because the gold would be radiated.
-
How does Am 241 effect the gold in smoke detectors? also.. do some material goods still use radium?

Scientists wrong? Traveling faster makes you older, not younger

Yep. That's why I suggest you learn how to use a cryogenic chamber. -
I took a basic electronics class a while back. I would suggest someone takes physics if they don't know it already. I wish I had known them in January. Trying to remember all the formulas is a must. I had the resistor color code memorized in a few days.

I've heard about that idea.. personally i think of a few things. 1. conspiracy. 2. there are always men of their time.. (advanced beyond normal people and government) we've had good ones so far.. but what if an evil one popped up? decided to make these biological diseases .. yikes.. might take 40 years until we figure something out.. maybe 50..

Colleges, Graduate Schools, Post Doc studies
Bio-Hazard replied to DocBill's topic in Science Education
Depending on the school you go to... here's a basic allaround look at it.. 4.0 = Above 90% : A (Awesome) 3.0-3.9 = B 80-89 (Belligerent) 2.0-2.9 = C 70-79(Common) 1.0-1.9 = D 60-69(Doomed to fail) but still passing.. well except some courses in colleges won't accept anything less than a C so it could be seen as failure. Plus when going for a graduate's degree, most colleges like to see above a 3.0 GPA. 0.0-0.9 = F 0-59(Failure) There is also the factor that the number of credits a course is worth will determine it's influence on your GPA. Talking to staff at the University or College will help you better understand this. E-mail works wonders. -
Edit: A good website to ask for mathematical advise would be: http://www.mathlinks.ro/Forum/forum-298.html The Classroom Math section would help you a lot. People are free to ask basic math questions or problems they are having. When I had taken my college entrance test, I had noticed that many of my mathematical skills were bad. I had forgotten many things that I had learnt in High School and also did very terrible on the Math section of the entrance test. I would suggest that you study basic mathematics. Pre-algebra it's called in Northern America. Seeing that you have obtain your General Education Diploma, I would think you have terminology on your side, but you forget some of the definitions and applications. That is O.K. I'm guessing you know exactly what questions to ask to learn math. Pre-algebra would be a great step in learning material to prepare for a college entrance exam. There are many resources at a local library that can help you find these resources. A good idea would be to go to the Librarian there, and ask them the same question as you are asking us in this website. Once you have done Pre-algebra, a basic mathematics study, you can move to Algebra and then Intermediate Algebra. Intermediate Algebra has many names. Asking a Librarian for learning resources to help you with Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Intermediate Algebra will help you get more prepared for this college entrance test. I estimate that it takes a person with nine hours a day of hard study to pass through one of these mathematics studies. In a month one could be completely done learning Pre-Algebra and then move to Algebra for a month and then to Intermediate Algebra. Pi has more to do with something called Geometry. Depending on the educational facility in the state you went to, the educational board you had may or may not have required you to know Geometry to pass the GED. On the college entrance exams though, knowing geometry will help save you money. This is why I suggest you learn Geometry also. The fundamentals of Geometry will help a person as a last step for doing very well on a college entrance test. Many Colleges will group 'Intermediate Algebra and Geometry' into one class. This is why it is important to know both. Sadly, many colleges don't let people independantly take Geometry seperately from Intermediate Algebra. The college entrance exam will test your geometry knowledge also. Having fundamental Geometry experience will prevent you from having to take lower level courses. The estimated time to get from Pre-Algebra to Geometry would seem to be four months with continuous, non-stop study. One month per subject in Mathematics. When learning from a book, working out the examples in it and having a book with odd answers in the back make learning a lot easier, because you put examples to work and you have the ability to check answers from questions in the book. Another interesting thing I would like to tell you is that many Colleges have a library of their own. Some learning materials are a lot better than the ones you find at a local library. Many of these books will sometimes have intructor's manuals allowing you to see all the answers that come with the book's questions. I check out my mathematic books at my college library.
