  1. I was a member of the University of Birmingham's astronomy society for 3 years .
  2. No, they are the actual source code files. They're in a .zip file on my machine though, not a .jar. As for the question asked, I dunno.. I don't know that much Java.
  3. It should be http://www.mirc.co.uk.
  4. There's not gonna be a lockout, they've reached an agreement on a new CBA.
  5. I didn't see a single game of the playoffs this year . I had SA to win in 7 on my bracket, but I thought Detroit would have taken them to at least 1 overtime.
  6. Oh God, not again.

    Photons?

    If an electron is emitted, one of the atom's neutrons is turned into a proton. If a positron (a positron has the same mass as an electron, but is positively charged) is emitted, it is a proton in the nucleus that turns into a neutron. There's a whole page on beta decay here.
  8. Left home to go to university. Started a Physics course, instead of Computer Science.

    Myst is also good. I have Uru, but it runs slowly on my machine and it's quite hard.
  10. You can use Cube[] = new Cube[x]; where x is an integer that specifies the number of elements (either a variable, or a literal.. I think that's the correct term), or specify the elements, eg. Cube myCube = new Cube(); Cube otherCube = new Cube(); Cube cubes[] = {myCube, otherCube};

    The term is "invigilators".
  14. Ah, I hadn't seen that page (even though I've been to the AIMA site). Thanks!
  15. Does anyone have any recommendations for books on AI that aren't textbooks? I'm looking for stuff to read for general interest. Thanks.
