When people say "dimensions" in scifi, most of the time they are talking about stepping through a portal to go someplace weird. When people say "dimensions" in relation to string theory, they are talking about dimensions along the lines of height, length and width. They are tightly folded and warped into the "normal" dimensions, so that, while we move and exist a tiny bit in the higher dimensions, we don't notice it. For more on dimensions, you might want to check out "Flatland" by Abbot. Great for all levels of math. The thing that you might be thinking about is alternate universes, a topic of which I know jack.

Well, if you put NaCl in water, you probably got Cl2 and 02. Dunno what the green was, probably impurities in the water or a reaction with the metal you used for the electrodes.

I was talking about the electrolysis of molten NaCl. Although you get Na metal, which I hear is cool if handled correctly, you also get Cl2. I was wondering, if done outside and far away from myself when the experiment was running, if it would still be too dangerous.

I was wondering just how deadly Cl2 is. Is it on the order of Insta-Death? Or more like being trapped in a room full of it for a couple of minutes will make you woozy?

You probably wouldn't actually need to cut the nozzle of the balloon, cept if you want style points. The paper clips would provide ballast. Gravity would pull on them more than on the rest of the project, so the balloon wouldn't spin around the straw, just force the air out. As long as you get the tape centered, I don't think it would point downward. Maybe a hobby shop like Hobby Works or someplace for an airplane?

Go to radio shack, buy a $9.99 motor. It probably weights about 100 grams. Get a cheap plastic fan blade, glue it to the motor, and hook up a cell phone battery. Get a straw, and attach this whole dealie to the straw. Or get a straw and a balloon. Blow it up, and attach it to the straw, and let it loose. Simpler, cheaper, lighter.

Hey CanadaAots, Could the password actually equal "Password?"? Look at the second line of code. It seems to me that if "pwd==PASSWORD" then you move on. If not, then you go to disney. Not sure, but its the only thing i see in the code that doesn't fit. Could someone please help me with lvl 2? Its sad, I know, but I cant find a way to open another file inside the source.

A little punctuation goes a long way.

If a person is "born" without any senses, would he/it be alive? If you don't let the clone become a person, i.e., give the clone a lobotomy at birth, or otherwise restrict brain growth and personality development, then would it really be a person? I would argue not. And since it was not really a person, it would not really be murder. Although I agree, if the clone was to be alive and conscious, then the act of killing him would defiantly be murder. How bout this for a scheme: A lot of people have argued that replacing everything with machines except the brain would help people to live longer. Well, since the brain is a complex set of patterns, why not put a recorder of some sorts in or around the head, and record electricity flow? Keep it on for a decade, and the patterns which are "you" would be firmly set into the recorder. Transfer these patterns to a mechanical chip, and then kill the "old" you. It would be a bit like suicide, I suppose, but the chip would not know the difference between the old and new "you". While your body would die, your memories would live on, and, honestly, what is a person but accumulated patterns? Of course, this wouldn't work for those with religious leanings. Honestly, I am not sure I would take this option, but, to me, it seems like it might work someday.

Ok, so I've got the source open for level 2. Since I normally use AOL (I am embarrassed, but there you go) I had to download Firefox. However, once the source is open, I see a password, but no username. And the password, which is in white so people don't get angry at me, is ItIsSoEasy. But it doesn't work.

My question is, "Is shooting a man who has overdoesed and will be dead in probably several minutes murder? Is killing a dead man murder?" I would argue not. With that much heroin in the bloodstream, not much could save him. So he was dead, just he happened to be breathing. There is no law against shooting a corpse.
