its for real. it all involves the use of algorithms. bet you if i mixed it up instead of him it would take a bit longer.
-
i was going by that and a few other sites. but i'll admit i'm no anaesthesio... however you spell it.

hydrogen ions can be absorbed at the anode with carbon dioxide(carbon dioxide has an electrode potential, wrt hydrogen which is the standard. so does carbon). maybe you've made a carbon-carbondioxide electrochemical cell? how did that testing for oxalic acid go?
-
outside a controlled enviroment N2O IS dangerous as you can get to the point where you don't know how much you've had and take a fatal dose without realising. and though it isn't used as an anaesthetic anymore(too dangerous, imagine that) it was the first anaesthetic.

maths is plenty boring as it is. i hated that class. i only use it as a means to an end. it had me wondering why the hell i picked an engineering course and not some arty farty course where i wouldn't even have to do addition.
-
in mathematics there is always somethng so far ahead of you it is incomprehensible. the stuf you find difficult now will become extremely simple for you with time(oh for the simplicities of multivariable calculus) but there always be something that you'll never understand.

scilab is good. though it isn't really a calculator perse, more of a programming environment. if you know how to compile source then try some of these(or just use a linux distro) http://www.gnomefiles.org/subcategory.php?sub_cat_id=48

Mass number is the number of protons + the number of neutrons. usually an average of how common the different isotopes are. usually you just go look it up on a periodic table.

NO2 is highly toxic and NO isn't much better outside its biological functions and it won't las long. N2O is laughing gas. It is not recommended that you inhale ANY of these gases as all have the potential to cause death especially with NO2 as it will anaethsetise the nose at low concentrations and at a not much higher dose is fatal. the sysmptoms won't appear for a few hours either but you'll drown from fluid buildup in your lungs. not a nice way to go.

ffs farsight. you say you can explain stuff but never do so. you just ramble on and use analogy after analogy and show pictures in at random intervals. you put up no math and refuse to create it. your explainations are circular or are extended versions of 'that the way it is because thats the way it is'. if you have nothing to add, don't say anything at all.

well, gravity is both a feild and a force. there is a gravitaional feild(much like an electrostatic feild) and objects within that feild experience a gravitaional force(much like an electrostatic force). i wouldn't say he is wrong but it may cause confusion when the kids get another teacher. and really, gravitational force is just a fancy way of saying 'weight'

1/ this isn't a 'we'll do your homeowrk for you' forum. 2/ pretty obvious it only has one possible layout. try it out draw out the propane structure and try moving the carbons about.

yeah and he's asking the difluoroethane in the can will corrode his gun. we answered his question. stop freaking out if we happen to go indepth into things or go of on a tangent.

for a chromosone, a few billion? a cell is somewhere between a few hundred pico moles and a nano mole and the human body is probably a couple of kilomoles. though these will vary from cell to cell, chromosone to chromosone, person to person and second to second. rough estimates based on the mass from wikipedia. not likely to be accurate.

Where is Dark Matter?
insane_alien replied to GrandMasterK's topic in Modern and Theoretical Physics
as severian said, it is a logical conclusion. DM interacts via gravity, it will be attracted to gravity sources. seeing as we are sitting in one gravity well inside an even bigger gravity well i think it would be safe to assume that there is some floating about. we just can't detect it. -
The Relativity Of Motion In Space Relative To The Inertia Phenomena

you're beyond the help of drugs if you can undertand that and have it make sense. -
okay there is a basic equation : dH = C_p *M *dT dH = change in heat(energy) C_p= heat capacity of the material M = mass of material dT = change in temperature. dT for the water is 7*C and for the sludge is 6*C none of these calculaions will mean anything until you get an accurate heat capacity of the sludge.
-
okay, find out the heat capacity of the sludge it'll probably be less than water but on the same order of magnitude. then work out how much energy the water is dumping in the heat exchanger and how much energy the sludge picks up while in the heat exchanger. divide the energy picked up by the sludge by the energy lost by the water and you'll get your baseline efficiency(do this after a cleaning).

the fluorine in the compound is already happily bonded to the carbon atoms. i don't think you'll have to work about it corroding your gun. the water however, could do this. if you are ultra paranoid you chould just flush it out with ether or another low boiling point organic solvent. this will dissolve the WD40, rinse it away along with anything the WD40 dissolved and then evapourate away. might want to let it air out for a while before firing though. just stick it infront of a fan or tie it to the outside of your car and go for a drive.
-
perfect sumation of the OP. could make it shorter though everything that interacts, interacts.

i agree with the veiw that you should be able to do what you want outside work(assuming it is legal of course) and that your employer shouldn't be able to control that. for behaviour in the workplace, i think it's fine to place some restrictions on it as long as they are reasonable(don't set fire to other employees and stuff like that) but if they are too restrictive without good reason(say, everybody must have chicken sandwiches on tuesdays) then i would disagree with them. if my employer tried to control my life outside work(say, by telling me to take my posts of SFN) i would tell them to go <insert favourite expletive here> themselves.
-
dogs are only like that because we bred them that way. if they were still wolves then they would be a bit less loyal.
-
well there is nothing sexy about that since it is 1/ malformed and 2/ says *U[ (without the last 4 digits)

in other words, i was right at the first.
