  1. i think tubgirl is a better choice than goatse.
  2. yes! a god with no concept of how to properly use a keyboard, or any other powers normally associated with deities. or even just average joes. definitely lacking in the IQ department and logic. even cabbages are greater gods than you.
  3. hmm. i always used the names interchangeably.
  4. Shaz, ketchup IS tomato sauce.
  5. Bread, Heinz tomato ketchup. enjoy.
  6. well, if it is down to the ethanol or the ethanal then it should be expected from any type of alcohol. next bout of 'experimentation' i will stick to my usual staple of ciders. either strongbow or kopparberg pear cider(god the swedes got THAT right) dpending on what pub we start off at. obviously i'll need to repeat the vodka experiment again to discount an anomalous result. but for now i will let my liver recover
  7. Q3.1 factoring in evapouration/condensation or ignoring it? Q3.2 factoring in the changing gravitaional field or assuming constant?
  8. youtube has a terms of use? anyway, they're sending a copy of the data to me. it's in my cache when i watch one of the videos. i just have an extensive permanent cache
  9. or you could use the weighted string to get the youngs modulus of it. works good with copper wire. depending on your level you may need to learn some new things but it's really really simple stuff and teachers like it when you do some independant research.
  10. well, 4 hours of sleep is pretty good for me. i suffer from bouts of insomnia. if we assume that my liver is similar to everyone elses and processes 1 unit of alcohol an hour and i know that i drank... more than 4 units. i would still have a significant amount of alcohol in me. that's also judging from my balance(lack of). Anyway, this thread has gone off course a bit. if you want to keep up the statistics arguement, please take it to a new thread. it isn't helping answer my question and while you were arguing about averages i was sacrificing my sobreity for science. so, i had about a bottle of white wine over dinner, a few glasses of red at a club then we went back home. after a few hours at home doing... various activities, we were still jumped up so we watched some movies and drank some more. judging from the aftermath, two bottles of red were consumed by me. then we fell asleep. i got up not long after to pee. had a glass of oranje juice as well, couldn't taste vodka.
  11. this basically rules out medical research as new drugs can vastly improve chances of surviving a disease. quite an impact wouldn't you say.
  12. 1/ very close to the speed of light. same as all matter 2/ they do interact very rarely. we also get directions of travel when we detect them. it would appear that there is a very strong source in the direction of our sun regardless of the time of year. either there is an unknow neutrino source on the lagrangian or the sun produces neutrinos through the mechanisms of nuclear fusion. we have detected neutrons from other source but due to the distances these are not as intense.
  13. i see you're of the same mind as me. stay reasonably clean of drugs and that till your in your seventies and then be high on everything
  14. ooo FOAB ... 44 tons of tnt isn't bad for a conventional explosive. wonder how big it is.
  15. averages should only apply when you are talking about a bunch of people. when talking about a single circumstance they tend to be wrong about 70 % of the time. if you applied it to all of us who were out that night(20-30) then it may have had some significance. then again, i only know what me and my gf done after... some early hour when it was dark.
  16. well it was a couple of nights ago now. anyway, i'm going out tomorrow night(well, tonight seeing as it's 00:36 just now) and i'll probably be drinking wine i don't think it'll be enough though. but i'll try to remember to experiment. no promises though.
  17. are they in solution or as solids? if they are solids, nothing will happen if they contact, solutions wil form aluminium hydroxide and sodium sulphate. nothing dangerous though the reaction is exothermic.
  18. lol, bettina the pirate. i think you can do it with VLC by saving the stream or something. can't remember the exact method.
  19. you just aren't listening in the right places. it is used in microchip manufacture. your processor was probably designed by a genetic algorithm.it's also used in aircraft design i believe.
  20. tomorrow night a 8pm under the railway bridge
  21. uhh, no, you miss understand me, i was not saying i think dimensions have not been proven. rather i was saying that dimensions do exist unless you use dimension to mean something other than what it is defined to mean in the english language.
  22. does a point have length? no does a point have depth? no does a point have width? no does a point have time? no well, thats none of the 4 dimensions. thats my veiwpoint. in reference to the origional question, by the same criteria, length also only has one dimension(unless they've started measuring it it m2 or m3) same with width and depth. these dimensions have also not been proven as well because they are only measurements by the criteria of the OP.
  23. uh a point is 0-dimensional.
  24. good luck at your imaginary university.
  25. that would depend entirely on the inorganic solid. but, the inorganic solid is likely to be <MASSIVE HINT>polar or even ionic.</MASSIVE HINT> in which case only one would be capable of dissolving it.
