common misconception. this proves that you aren't really all that knowledgable on EM interaction. While objects of room temperature emit radiation primarily in the IR regions does not meant that this is heat. heat is vibrational energy. or kinetic if its a gaseous system.

friends don't let friends buy dell. if you really need it to be a laptop try an asus or acer. heck, even a thinkpad. my R50e will run XPpro easily and now that i have a nice big hard drive, dual booting is easy with plenty of room on each.

i use metric most of the time though i can still use the imperial systems of measurement for when talking to old people or americans.

i didn't say that using the software without automatic data retrieval would be risky and if it is as wide used as you say, that function is probably pretty secure then. i'm just paranoid about some things. as for learning hebrew, i can't even learn french.
-
Personally i wouldn't trust automatic data retrieval over the internet and i would go fetch the data myself. i'm probably over paranoid about that but i feel comfortable doing it my way. Congratulations on getting accepted. and i didn't know english wasn't a first language for you. you've always been fluent when i've seen you on the boards or in the chat.

Exercise and Health Benefits

excercise gets your heart rate up, and uses up the 'free' glucose(the glucose in the blood stream) so the body will switch to secondary sources(fat). -
thanks for the idea. but seriously, i believe that profiling is a bad idea. terrorists, almost by definition, will use ANY means and ANY-body they can to achieve their goals. if we search every middleeastern looking person they aren't going go "oh blast, now we can't blow up any more planes" they are merely going to recruit someone outside the profiles
-
i got searched in an airport because some security guy overheard a bit of a conversation i was having with my gf that was taken way out of context. the part he heard was "...just blow it up on the plane." after i found out that was what he heard i could sort of understand it but i couldn't help but constantly giggling because we were talking about the inflatable headrests you can get.

this one was brought up on a drunken night out due to a complete misunderstanding and getting some words jumbled about. Edible Socks i think its an awesome name for a band.

as long as bacteria don't start eating computer chips -
the advantage of a radio telescope on the far side of the moon is that you don't accidentally pick up stary earth origined signals, say YT chatting up somebody over the airwaves. its the same problem as light pollution for optical telescopes

delta stands for the change in a value or the rate of change if its in differentiation. delta T stands for the change in temperature. its basically short hand for writing Tfinal-Tinitial. its hard to pick up at first but once it clicks then it will be easy enough.

i read something else about blu-ray or hd-dvd disks that the current ones wouldn't be allowed to read any movies produced in the future in the format. (the link is lost to the bin) as far as i can tell its because the ones today are lacking a capability to support DRM as they want to implement it in the future.

geosationary satelites are visible ALL the time and a network of 3 can see the entire globe.

The "stupidest" attempt to disprove evolution?

google video error. either you messed up th link or there is a server error. is that thing with the genetics the same as saying that there will be no new books because there can be no new letters. its just a jumble of the same old letters? -
i'm just not gonna put my copy of windows online anymore.

the dpi is the accuracy of the mouse. the higher it is, the smaller movements can be detected. unless your a game or a digital artist 800 dpi is more than sufficient.
-
you could have a higher data rate but thats a bit pointless since all the data a mouse sends coul be handled by a 9600 baud modem with plenty bandwidth to spare.

There will be more of it in vista and the whole shebang will probably be bundled with the version after. it was supposed to be released with vista but the pulled it, although personally i'm not trusting them at all about that. the ironic thing is that they are calling this 'trusted computing'

awesome. now i have an urge to do a backwards film.

Anjruu, not so much as know what i'm talking about as having a spanking great physics book next to me that has a chapter on infrared light. basically they work the same way a photovoltaic cell(solar pannel) works except it doesn't require so high energies to get a voltage. the voltage is nowhere near as big as a result. some times only as much as 10mV at peak.
-
they will work from further away but will probably suck up batterieslike a black hole sucks up well... everything. i'm sticking with my wired mice.
-
boycotting the software would be a good way to go about it.

1. i wasn't talking about supernovae i was talking about massive gravitational lensing intergalactic clouds of hydrogen. no iron. 2. IR cameras use narrowgap semiconductors where they require much less energy to conduct and in any case this is not a striping of electrons, merely a nudging.

XP has parts of it in it already. and its apparently being marketed as a security program against viruses and spyware.
