nah not cause its pcs but because its self nomination. otherwise i would have nominated myself for everything twice already.

Oh great i thought i had the whole relativity thingymujig sussed until you said that.

Definite integration: Step 1: integrate the function but leave out the +C part. Step 2: substitute the upper limit into the equation (upper limit is 5 so x=5, for example) and do the same for the lower limit. step 3: take the calculated value with the lower limit away from the calculated value with the upper limit(eg, in step 2 you got 6 for upper limit and 3 for lower limit, 6-3 = 3 <answer) step 4: admire your work.

America, land of the free. Unless your a scientist.

Yeah but this would also effectively criminalize the hobby chemist. but then again it does open up a fun little area of research called "i can't buy this, how can i make it?" but would still be potentially illegal if you don't have a license. thank god i don't live in america.

Ah yes the magical ability of blackholes to transmogrify every known form of matter into pasta. I think steven hawking wrote a paper on it.

Sunspot: that was mostly superfluous twaddle. in a water molecule, Oxygen is the most electronegative. this means that oxygen will have the bonding electrons around it more often than either of the two hydrogens. effectively this makes the oxygen behave as if it was slightly negatively charged and the hydrogens as if they were slightly positivel charged. This is called polarity. Since opposites attract the oxygen in a passing water molecule will be attracted to the hydrogen(s) of the water molecule we were talking about. This happens to be a relatively strong intermolecular bond and it makes the expanded crytaline substance that is ice. it also stops water boiling at -158*C or something like that.

this is true. i think a study found that it would take mercury 120 billion years venus 540 billion and earth over a trillion years to fall into the sun. since its going to blow up in about 5 i'd say that its not anything to worry about.

so basically your saying that if your not getting answers that go with the question, your subconcious isn't working yet. sounds like selective data to me. sort of like "Hey lets take these 3 guys with beards and ignore the other 480million guys without beards and conclude that everybody has a beard."

Pah! thats nothing! you should be in my house when my mum is in. It could be 5 billion K and she'd be walking around in a big wooly jumper asking "is it just me or is anyone else cold?"

WTF? permanganate compounds!!! they're used all the time for non explosive experiments. like where its an indicator/oxidiser. mygod that takes a lot of chemistry away.

So is the apparent frequency of spectral line of absorption not exactly what the atom absorbs? No its exactly what the atom absorbs. It'll also emit those frequencies as well if properly stimulated.
-
yeah but all that splashing would create a lot of petroleum vapour which was obviously withing the explosive limits of petrol. you never see this concentration at petrol stations unless something went very very wrong.

2012 theories moon landing hoaxes 11/9 conspiracies (i refuse to do it the american way)

its all about pH. which is basically the concentration of H+ ions. if it restores the H+:OH- ion concentrations to 1:1 (pH 7) then it neutralized it.

whoops missed it... i was at a friends flat and she doesn't have cable.

I don't think so because the quarks/antiquarks would probably annihilate but you'll want to check this against someone who knows more about this than me.
-
if you want the value of it when its in a gaseuos state then yeah go ahead but remember that the temp has to be above the boiling point.

It won't cause stomach cramps but does have the potential to cause muscle cramps if your doing some proper swimming and not just mucking about with friends. this happens because blood is diverted to your stomach to aid in digestion. it only really applys to meals and a small snack won't do any harm. i've seen this happen a few times when i've been watching over a pool. Us life guards don't like tha fatties that are constantly eating. i had to send some guy away cause he was eating a family bucket of KFC as he was coming onto the poolside. there was no way in hell i would have been able to get him out the pool if it was necessary.

Close. neither require any energy to absorb the photon. The ozone moleule is a resonant molecule which makes it pretty stable and disperses energy throughout the molecule quite quickly. this makes it good at taking a high energy photon(UV-B/C) and emmitting lower energy photons (IR, Vis, UV-A)

yes but it can be very very innaccurate since the aging process is different for everybody and it only applys general rules. there is a machine that does it in the glasgow science center.

Nope. the orbit is elliptical because the momentum is not the right magnitude or direction to support a circular orbit. the direction is only correct at points on the orbit and so is the magnitude but different sets of points.

I prefer the one with the rock on top of it.

you got a scanner? or get a friend to take one. I would put a pic of me on but foamy forbids it.
