  1. i honestly can't remember writing that. must have been to a party beforehand.
  2. WTF? i've never seen any evidence for this. i've made acidic solutions thousands of times(probably still only in the hundreds but you know...) and i've never seen anything to sugest that the solution is in anyway charged. i think your talk a load of smelly underpants.
  3. Its an synthetic element not found naturally(well maybe a couple of atoms in supernovae but no more than that. the only way to get it in apreaciable quantities is to make it in nuclear reactors
  4. are you crazy that would open up your bank account to hackers. seriously thats a bad idea. why don't you just login the old fashioned way. its safer.
  5. well i didn't get a darwin award but the house is nice and toasty now.
  6. Only if you wish to fry the insides of the computer.
  7. So you seen that bluepeter episode where they built a breeder reactor out of a yoghurt pot an some sticky back plastic as well then?
  8. Vacuums annihilate stuff????? oh god were screwed the universe is 99.999999% vacuum. technically nothing isn't a thing. it just has a similar sounding name so people automatically assume that it is an entity. who says there has to be a boundary.
  9. Extreme close up of he santa hat in lances avatar?
  10. I'll be in my kitchen trying to fix the boiler. probably blow myself up and earn myself a darwin award.
  11. i'll flick over to it for a minute or 2 see if they can produce anything i haven't heard. probably turn out to be a repeat under a different name.
  12. You can tweak a sample so you get a smooth(ish) line. although its kind of irrelevant and just complicates things.
  13. well yeah blood always helps a heart to beat. haemoglobin are bloodcells.
  14. blood can contain bacteria when your not sick. infact it always has a few microbes(not necesarily evil ones) by microbes i mean foriegn(spellings gone today methinks) bacteria.
  15. we're still here and still watching you. its just that you don't notice us, even if we make it obvious.
  16. Is it a horde of closet people getting ready to invade someones left nostril in the dead of night?
  17. although dimension numbers are arbitrary the 4th dimension is generally considered to be time.
  18. REP: Everything is not known.Hence the defintion is incomplete. Just cause we don't know about it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. if it exists then it is part of the universe. say for example we open up a wormhole in some crazy experiment and we discover another "plane" of existence where everything is slightly different then it would still be part of the universe and always would have been and always will be. What does knowing what is or isn't out there have to do with it anyway.
  19. you were doing so well up until here. if i take a kilogram of aluminium and a kilogram of water, both at 25 Centigrade then the water will have the most heat energy but they both have the same temperature. Heat is the Total amount of kinetic energy in the object. temperature is a measure of the average per molecule or other arbitrary unit.
  20. the gas laws. increase volume, keep amount of stuff the same and watch that temperature fall along with the pressure. remembe that at that time the universe was probably smaller than your average creationists brain. or ->||<- that big.
  21. But what if you don't believe in jesus.... BANG! insane_alien is now a cloud of subatomic particles. Random phyzorcist: "ooo look quarks can exist on their own"
  22. big batteries/solar panel + an altenator to give you 50Hz if you mean "beams" of energy then no, such a device does not exist as of yet.
  23. the ground state has the highest velocity. hydrogen has lots of orbitals just like any othe atom. that is why we get the nice emission/absobtion spectra.
  24. so probably a few nanometers across say 2. thats 0.002 microns
  25. i have little to no inhibitions sober never mind when drunk. like when i turned up for a lecture wearing only a sock and a sombrero.
