i f the bible could be shown to be credible in all areas then it would require other proofs to back up what is said about the creation of evidence. If it was prooved to be credible as a historical document then yes it would be acceptable but only just since it is mainly a religious text.

could be a case of "this is the first theory i have heard of so i will believe completely in it and won't put the effort in to read about other theories"

but it still could have happened randomly. i'm more interested in someone providing evidence for biblical literalism but that is the quality of posts i'm looking for.

I challenge any creationist(or anybody else for that matter) to attempt to find a single peice of logical and/or empirical evidence that suggests that creationism is true. I DO NOT WANT attacks on belief(this is not about belief but science), references to the bible(it can be made to agree with anything) or statements such as "i think evolution is a bunch of crap so creationism must be true"(if something is not A it does not necessarily mean that B is true). If this erupts into a flame war or personal attacks of any kind are made then i will ask for this thread to be closed by the moderators.

evolution is a theory it has been observed happening in laboratories and in nature(why do think they need so many different flu vaccines?). fossil records also show a wide range of trasitional species. evolution has also been published in scientific journals. what laws does the big bang defy? lets hear your answer.

Creationism is not science since it is based out of a book that is an account of something no-one ever witnessed and was edited and re-edited based on the whims of the church to turn it into religious propaganda

creationism is not a theory! i know of no (reputable) scientist of any area of expertise who regards creationism as a theory as it has never been published in a scientific journal, there is no empirical evidence, it defies several established theories and some laws.

if you could know where everysingle particle was and its velocity perfectly and had a computer that could work it out faster than it was happening then it could be done but such a computer would need to be bigger than all of the mass of the universe combined.
