  1. Cool. You might get better sleep now instead of feeling spaced out when you get off the phone.
  2. You should have something called 'Night Shift' on there. https://www.wikihow.com/Adjust-Night-Shift-Color-Temperature-on-an-iPhone If you've got iPhone 8 or higher there is True Tone as well which will adjust for the ambient light: https://www.imore.com/true-tone Or you can Google 'iphone change colour temperature' for other possibilities. Redder is lower temperature and bluer is higher.
  3. What's that? If the whites are too much and you use W10 you can set up the 'Night Light' (Type that in the taskbarsearch box) andyou can add more amber to it to make lit ess glaring or you can get F-Lux which will do the same. Their main function is to reduce the screen's blue light which can mess up your sleep patterns when you look at your screen at night because your brain still thinks it''s daylight.. I always have some amber mixed in in the daytime... easier on my eyes.
  4. Relativity shows that commonsense is not to be relied upon.
  5. If it is pixellated then that would constitute a point since that would be the smallest unit of space. I realise in maths a point is an abstract article with zero spatial extension.
  6. Physically, wouldn't a point be the smallest unit of space?
  7. They are time you'll never get back if you read them.
  8. That's ripe for exporting.
  9. "There's the church , now fly to that yellow thing over there" "Ok Buddy"
  10. Given the emerging technology, how much longer will they be invisible?
  11. There have been articles this side discussing what could be generally summarized as 'Fake News' and how it might be dealt with with regards to teaching schoolchildren. Yes, there's going to be a long learning curve for the first internet generation to get to grips with it to teach future generations. This is their world really, not ours, because we are not fully immersed in it.
  12. It must be hard to be a millennial. The advantage with being older and pre-internet is one can see better through the chaff.
  13. That's what I like here about discussing this kind of stuff: many people by virtue of their interest in science are acutely aware of what might look like misleading information and the need for critical thinking.
  14. Yes, once one is committed to a strand of thought one tends to only look for stuff that supports it.
  15. Yes, there is no 'I' in team. I think this highlights that he is not a team player and he has always played the solo dog-eat-dog game.
  16. I think it will be bipartisan if the final mess is damaging enough for everyone. This ain't no normal presidency.
  17. That link is from 2014. Stop being a Republican fanboy and open your eyes.
  18. The difference between Daniels and Trump is that with the former WYSIWYG. I can't pull her down for that. By the time Trump exits, I think we'll have seen it all. I wouldn't be surprised if the US enacts new laws to trim the powers of the president or put independent oversight in places.
  19. Yes, of course. I just read she's crowdfunding solely for her legal costs. Also, she has a strip tour going called "Make America Horny Again". So, her motives are in several places it seems.
  20. Thanks to you both. I see now. Couldn't Trump have just shut her up with his own money or would that have fallen foul of the rules as well? I thought this was their primary motive. My impression up to now was that she was attempting to capitalize on notoriety.
  21. What's the view like from the US side? Why is her lawyer dragging up payments made to Trump's lawyer by various companies? She seems to be making a career out of it all.
  22. If the maths doesn''t add up, nobody's going to stumble on it accidentally; wormholes start at 10-33 centimetres.
  23. Lightspeed requires infinite energy for a massive object. Nature prevents it, not engineering. Edited
