  1. The universe stops fractalizing beyond a certain scale and becomes homogenous.
  2. Does that mean that travelling at c is an intrinsic property of massless particles for them to exist?
  3. Are they contra-rotating outwards? I'm referring to the light-bluish parts in this image: Mechanically, are the original vortices intiated/formed in the same way tornados are formed in an atmosphere? Mutual friction of adjacent, directionally-opposed clouds causes them to turn into each other?
  4. It smells of a de facto, if not explicit, shoot-to-kill policy.
  5. You are in good hands with the people currently contributing.
  6. Intellect is no guide to societal stability. Intellectuals are not necessarily inherently good and accommodating to all viewpoints; they are as vulnerable to deceiving and self-deceit as anyone else.
  7. We aren't looking to prevent another Israeli-focussed 'Holocaust', which is not the issue, we wish to avoid seeing a repeat of NAKBA 1948.
  8. Babel fish.
  9. Whale conservationist Ted Cheeseman admits that the huge animals don't patiently pose for photos. Instead, on most whale-watching trips he says "you see 2% of the whale for 2% of the time". Nevertheless, going out in a boat to try to spot a whale remains very popular. An estimated 13 million people go whale watching every year around the world, and the industry is said to be worth $2.1bn (£1.7bn). The humpback whale is the star of the whale-watching business, as it's relatively common and spends time on the surface. Mr Cheeseman also says that the humpback is "very engaging", with the luckiest whale-watchers catching a breach (a jump out of the water) or a flick of the tail. To help people feel a closer connection to each whale, Mr Cheesman's research company, HappyWhale, allows users to upload their photos onto its website. HappyWhale's artificial intelligence (AI) software will then quickly trawl through its database of more than 70,000 different whales with the aim of telling you the exact animal that you were looking at. It can tell you the whale's name, if it has already been given one, or invite you to choose one. And if the whale is one that has been previously recorded it will show you a map of everywhere that it has been sighted. The AI works by using adapted human facial recognition software to identify each whale's uniquely shaped, coloured or marked tail. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-67649177
  10. I'm with you here. It's not a linear process. Sometimes, when one goes especially deep we can lose the sight of the forest. At the micro level, individual processes may be linear and sequential, but zoom out and the story changes to a more complicated one.
  11. Israel's MO is to constantly play the victim to justify its asymmetric ability to apply aggression. Interesting to see Biden losing his grip on the situation and inability to rein in Netanyahu and his coalition attack dogs. Netanyahu/Ben-Givr will stop when the situation suits them strategically.
  12. If it's bigger than me; run. If it's smaller than me; eat it or chill.
  13. There is no intention to slander. If someone puts up the means, someone with malicious intent could use it. C'est la vie.
  14. ... apart from a few extensions to Euclid? And how many extensions to the mathematical corpus have you done? If it was a choice between being stuck on an island with either, Leonardo would be my preferred survival partner.
  15. Now there's one that flew over the cuckoo's nest. That's a curveball suggestion that could work. Cheney for pres. Out of all the available options, I would vote for her. She's taken the hardest swings and still standing... and not through blind belligerence either.
  16. Yes, most people are morally transient, according to their perceived needs.
  17. Keylogging/spy software. We can't help with that stuff because it's too often used with malice in mind.
  18. Given the same pervasive, morally-subversive conditions, we each may well potentially think in the same way.
  19. Needs moving to the Religion section.
  20. Translate: 'Otzma Yehudit', which Ben-Givr leads. It might has well be called the 'Fourth Reich'.
  21. If we increase the density of something, one is concentrating it; be it people or matter.
  22. Exactly my thoughts, seeing the sad faces of Palestinian children minus limbs. Perfect recruitment material.
