  1. Why is it an existential problem? What's it like to be black under your white skin because that's what we whites are.
  2. You are a racist bigot and that's all there is to it.
  3. It was clear from the off that OP the was not interested in a reasoned discussion.... to be frank, he was being a knob.
  4. Understood, but I did say "usually".
  5. What does such a discussion, by amateurs like yourself, not skilled in statistical analysis and genetics, achieve in the end that is not negative?
  6. For an act to be murder it is usually necessary for it to be preceded by malice.
  7. Is the liquid too viscous for the method used and surfactant sorts that? Inspired by this article: http://crosslinktech.com/support/tips-and-tricks/degassing-materials.html Avoid introducing air bubbles when mixing - think about your mixing technique. Add surfactant like DrP says. Failing these, you could try using a pot that has a buit in vacuum pump to degass the lacquer after mixing. Here's one used in fishing for soaking pellets in. These pots enable the pellets to sink, instead of floating, by sucking the air out of them. I'm sure you could find them used for other applications, like food preservation, but this should give you an idea what to look for or even inspire you to create your own using the same idea. http://www.pecheur.com/en/gb/buy-pellet-pump-garbolino-87483.html?af=393329&gclid=CI262vT2ndACFYsA0wodPc8DMw#af=393329
  8. I think, not in the UK after 24 weeks. A foetus acquires personhood after that time and is registered as such in the event of their death, complete with a normal funeral, Like CharonY said, it would only occur if it was a medical necessity. Regarding "irrational" actions prior to that time: that is for the mother and/or father to decide as, otherwise, one would be taking away their autonomy and rights. They have to live with and bear the responsibility for any decision they may make.
  9. Right,OK. Just going through the list.
  10. You've lost me.
  11. Even with external points of reference an inertial observer would not know. If he experiences stresses then he is not inertial.
  12. I'm no expert, but AFAIK: if gravity was magnetic in character, its strength would vary with distance according to the inverse cube relation; it actually conforms to an inverse square relation.
  13. I think it's basically determined when science thinks a baby could survive outside the body, with medical assistance if necessary, and that they are sentient.
  14. That's right: BLM means black lives matter as much as everybody elses.
  15. The moment of autonomy for the unborn child is set, to the best of current medical knowledge, and outside of that the mother should have her own autonomy to decide.
  16. That's about it.
  17. We've already, essentially, been here in the Is Abortion Ethical? Thread.
  18. What is a metre and a second made of?
  19. Despite the electoral rhetoric, the day-to-day demands, current and future, will temper what he can actually do.
  20. Yes, indeed, it's what you do with it that matters.
  21. Time is what clocks measure and that's all physicists say, and that is sufficient. Why don't people agonise over the ontology of length?
  22. 9/11 part 2: .TV remote control...check.... popcorn... check... sick bag...
  23. It's almost like the US has voted for an Adolf Hitler. I don't mean he's like him literally but he is bizarre and extreme like him.
  24. In what way is India being exploited?
  25. Why are the Western countries becoming insular and self-serving? I ask this WRT the popular vote. We've just done it in the UK. The idea of global co-operation is taking a back seat, it seems. What has Obama's government done so wrong?
