that whole pinching your arm thing, doesnt work, becuase when im dreaming, im not in control :/ and i cant just suddently say, hey i should pinch my arm and see if this is a dream, it all just gets shot at me the dream, the scary ones are the ones where you are gonna die, and you are actually thinking, god dammit i know im not gonna die becuase its a dream, god but what if i do, AH WAKE UP PLEASE! but i still dont feel i have the power to say, oket instead i will pinch my arm dreams are strange things, fasanating :| i also dont think time is different n all that , altho it is wierd how 5 minutes in a dream can be a 8 hour sleep, but i guess the 7 hours 55minutes is just dreaming that you never remember...

Yes the current network you are on sucks ass, its slow irc.webmaster.com is ok i use it all the time, altho it does have a tendancy to unidentify your username, rarly tho, just sucks if you idle alot. but smarter people have scripts (not me)

ok, thanks, hmm so if they did find away to at least travel near c it woudlent be all that great on the trip back, the earth would of ages but not you. If thats right. So wait, you are basicly traveling forward in time , so earth would be waiting years for your return, so it would be a quick way to see the future, and the whole idea of traveling at light speed isnt all that great considering earth would be waiting years for your return... kinda sucks

Just wondering, i thought it was in a post somewhere but i cant find it :/ If you travelled at the speed of light for ten minute somewhere or over the speed of light, then came back, what would be the effect on time in earth? Does traveling at that speed do anything with time, like make it go back or forward ?

Have scientists near enough gave up on space travel , e.g. traveling at light speed, just becuase Einstein said it wasnt possible? How much work do they do on this now days? (Im not dissing Einstein or anything, correct me if im wrong, i know nothing ).

If we were traveling faster than time/light, and we arrived at are destination before light, how long would it take for the light to come and hit us, i made a little flash animated cartoon of what i thought, i aint gonna show you becuase i know im wrong, i just was wondering what would be happening in the time where light isnt there. I really want to understand this more!

If we did figure out traveling faster than light speed, would it make Einstein wrong? i dont know alot about science so im asking, did Einstein say for a fact that it is impossible to travel faster than light? if he didnt say it as a fact then we cant say he was wrong.

Sorry i havent read all the other posts, i really should, but i was just thinking about traveling faster than light... if this were possible, and hopefully maybe one day it will be... If you were traveling faster than light and you reached your destinatin, would light travel up behind you? what some posts are saying is that you would be traveling in time, future or past, but how is that.. this is confusing me and im thinking about it right now, so if you traveld faster than light and say came to a planet like earth where light is here, what wold it be like arriving before like, and they already have light, its confusing im confused, Ill try explain better what i think um... We have light right now, and if a ship was traveling to us faster than light and it hit us, there would already be light here, what about the light behind it that it was traveling faster than? how would it be in the future or past? I really need to read more about it, ive suddenly taken an interest in Astronomy and space travel, i dont know where to start, and i havent had much luck in school considering i left young, and im only 16 and i was never very good at maths... is it possible for me to learn? i want to...:/

well thanks for your idea's i guess if they possible had an idea, but it may affect killing a human, they could send a probe, just to see if it does warp, and ofcourse there isnt much luck of getting it back.. but its silly to just say, lets forget about the whole idea becuase of what einstein said, even if his explination was very reasonable. :/
