Im from Australia and i have just finished an environmental course at TAFE (thats our version of technical college). The course opened my eyes to a world of hurt earth wise.
I am commited to helping the earth in any way i can, i have been commited for years, but during my study on our (humanity) progress, i became very depressed. Goverment beurocracy, multinational companies and human attatudes (I don't care, ect) are holding up valuable technologies that can help us to hold onto the little that remains of our world.
Now before someone criticises me for using electricity (someone always does), i am powering my work using a combination of green energy devices (solar panels etc).
places like this are brillient for me because i can find others who also want to help our world, this is our home, we have to take care of it.
Hope someone out there agrees with me.
P.s. which section of the site do i lodge these environmental posts?, also, is there a technology section or sci-fi section? Thanks in advance.
