  1. Hi all! I'm looking for a new language too learn and I am wondering if someone can point out the advantages of learning C# over VB.NET... Either way I will probably learn both but just looking too see which has the most features, flexability and power. If anyone has ANY insight, personal experience etc. with either of the languages please post and let me know which you think is the best one to learn. Also note, I already know some variations on C and VB as well as some others. Cheers, Ryan Jones
  2. Your welcome, this may also prove useful Also, welcome to SFN Cheers, Ryan Jones
  3. Well shure it does... it also has to do with the size if the molecules involved, is easier for smaller molecules to diffuse then larger ones. Viscosity normally constitutes high molecular size, e.g. the comparison of bitumen and petrol for example. Bitumen has the larger molecule size and so is much less viscous then the petrol. 4. I'm not so shure about that... I think there is a law that says they must maintain support for xxx amount of time. MS are a money hungry monopoly so your right they wil try to get rid of P as fast as they can once Vista is finished. Cheers, Ryan Jones

  11. I have heared that too... there was a theory about nanotubes being possible candidates for superconductors, if there are electrons located in the center then that could lead to some interesting properties I guess... Cheers, Ryan Jones
  12. My organic chemistry book also covers them so I agree with you Cheers, Ryan Jones
  13. I believe buckyballs are considered to be organic... some people consider them to be composed of hydrogen and carbon but then there are loads of exceptiosn there too... Cheers, Ryan Jones
  14. Hydrogen peroxide decomposes easily, just about anything can make it decompose... heating it will make this go faster so I'd say it probably would, yes. Cheers, Ryan Jones

  17. RIP is this: http://rip.mozdev.org/ Yes and no. It would make indexing easier for the engines and thus make it easier for them to filter out un-wanted content and no because the search engines just don't care enough to optimise the search algorithms Cheers, Ryan Jones
  18. An IE shell... looks new but its just IE with a make over, same problems and all... If you want to ingerit all the security problems and rendering problems then use it, otherwise use Firefox or Opera It would be cool is we could see the SNF stats online... Cheers, Ryan Jones

  21. The Hubble Space Telescope has once again proven to be invaluable in discovering things about our solar system, this time its a discovery relating to the recently found tenth planet. The planet (unoficially called Xena) has a diameter about 30% greater then that of Pluto putting it at about 1,490 miles in diameter. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/04/060417131556.htm - Ryan Jones
