Hmm... garlic powder would probably take more to heat up because in the liiquid its particles are dispursed. Some substaces actually cool the water when they are dissolved in it and its pretty cool to watch, an example is Ammonium Nitrate which cna actually make the water freeze, its the stuff used in thse "cold packs" they use when you hurt yourself Cheers, Ryan Jones

Hi everyone! I'm making a chemistry website and to save databse space (A lot when you have lots of things too add) I decided to make a pattern match replacer for some of the information, specifically the electron configurations. If you don't know what the electron configuration format is then here it is. nTe Where n = any 1-2 digit number, T is either s,p,d or f. If T = s then e can be any positive number number less than 2. If T = p then e can be any positive number number less than 6. If T = d then e can be any positive number number less than 10. If T = f then e can be any positive number number less than 14 I have eneted the information in to the databse in that format, my problem comes here: I need the e part to be in superscript so I need to do a pattern match to find and replace e with ^e. My best efforts failed and now I turn too you for help, has anyone got (Or can make) a piece of code that will do that? Values for the format can be like this: [Rn]5f147s27p1 should be made too: [Rn]5f147s27p1 1s22s2 should be replaced by 1s22s2 Cheers, Ryan Jones

Firstly welcome to the forums! Now too your question... Any mater that is classed as plasma is always a gas that has had one or more of its electrons removed so its ionized. So, its basically a gass with some of its electrons removed Sometimes things are classed as plasma when super heated but this is not nessisary, tube type light bulbs contain plasms! If you had Hydrogen and Chlorine when you could. Because its a gas at room temperature after a certain point there will be no water left and thus it wil turn back into its gas form (Corrosive) - if you could apply enough pressure to this you could make it liquid for shure Like I said, I don't think you will be able to get Hydrogen and Chlorine cylinders nor would you have the ability to apply a lot of pressure to the gas so as jdurg said the answer is a big no Cheers, Ryan Jones
