No problem If oil were alive then it would eb possible but because it is dead material its not possible to just clone it, cloning required the subject to be alive Cheers, Ryan Jones
-
Unfortunatly its not that easy. Cells divide and oil is formed through a complex processes on dead see animals so its not the same thing. Scientists are trying to work out a way to turn plastics back to oils though Cheers, Ryan Jones
-
No, it dies because all of its cells have reached their cellular division limit. or because someone stamped on it or cut it down or lack of nutrients and sunlight... Cheers, Ryan Jones

No point thinking about that which you cna not change. Cheers, Ryan Jones

Now there is a coincidence! There is another good one too but its vast involving the factors that affect enzyme activity Cheers, Ryan Jones

Thats not actually true, the same equations that show that a black hole must form as a result of the collapse of a huge star show that the star must continue to collapse as there is nothing known that cna stop it from doing so! Cheers, Ryan Jones

Biology experiments are some of the most interesting and yet some of the hardest to preform! Pitty too, a great one is the action of catalase (from liver) too Hydrogen Peroxide, thats fun too watch! Cheers, Ryan Jones

Sorry YT2095, did notsee your reply - I did not get a topic notification for some reason! Another question, what is the use of Sulphur in black powder, are there ever cases where something other than sulphur (E.G. Phosphorus) is used? Cheers, Ryan Jones

Astatine is probably the rarest naturally occuring element with the whole Earth containing only about one ounce or 25g of this element! Fluorine is the most electrogegative element known with an electronegativity of 4 and will forn compounds with just about every element including some of the noble gases! Nitroglycerin (glyceryl trinitrate) is used to treat angina pains! Cheers, Ryan Jones

True, even they use something simmilar to a Zone Alarm Notron intergrated complex although they added and cahnged a few thing sbut the idea of a Firewall is the same so the code is baiscally the same. Everyone things government agencies use these hi-tech advanced software which they do but thwn it comes down to a firewall you can only do so much so the codes we have and the codes they have are basically the same! Cheers, Ryan Jones

I don't know, I try to say that about things to do with E-mail and the like just icnase its informaiton they don't want everyone too see. I take this approach because I did one do as you said and the guy got real upset to say the least Cheers, Ryan Jones
-
Yes your right it is. I don';t think ther eis any way to access it at all through the internet, many have tried and many have failed too If Microsoft had any sence they would do as you said and host it offline which they do actually do for security reasons Cheers, Ryan Jones
-
Never thought of that, good one Not that it would do much good if the signal is actually encripted though Cheers, Ryan Jones
-
There is that yes, the actual quality of the image depends on the system, the memory etc. so you don't always get what your looking for. Then, if you have a program that monitors unusual memory usage then it will find tha this program is using an amazing ammount of memory when transfering the print screen to a file and thus its more likley to be found! There are a few more reasons but they probably won't be of interest to anyone here so I'll not waste server space by posting them Cheers, Ryan Jones

I still don't think it can go that far, the limit on my boosted (Required for some of my work) wireless is about 200 meters away from the source. Maybe with some really speciallist equiptment it could be possible but I've never heared of it actually being used like that But as 5614 it really depends on the router, normal routers can't transmit very far because the signal starts to degrade rapidly after a point. Cheers, Ryan Jones

Nope, its not. Its only illegal if you presist in doing it (all the time) or you then try to hack the server with the informaiton you have gotten, that would be illegal @Douglas: What E-mail provider do you use? Do they allow filters? If they do then you can use a pattern match filter to block them. If not contact your provider and ask them to block the E-mails at the source If you need more informaiton please PM me and I'll see what I cna do to help you out Cheers, Ryan Jones
-
Again 100% true. The folder its self is protected there is no way you can actually get it unless you want to try your heart at some hardcore server hacking and then you'd probably still fail to find it. Its probably encripted too to stop hackers getting to the files. Cheers, Ryan Jones

What came first? The chloroplast or the mitrochondria?
RyanJ replied to Bluenoise's topic in The Lounge
Correct I'd also say chloroplasts - my reason is this: mitocondria preforn aerobic resperation, to do this they need oxygen. In the early atmosphere there was very little and so the chloroplasts must have evolved first Cheers, Ryan Jones -
No problem, Goolge is not known for its accurate translating abilities and I can only just use English! Cheers, Ryan Jones
-
You are correct, it does. I think its for 2 months and this is for security and incase there is soemthing in the E-mail that may be relevevant to an inestigation or the like. These E-mails can never be read unless there is a reason to do so like an investigation so no need to worry there. Some phone companies do this also, when you phone certian companies say to buy something, at random you may be taped for security reasons yet again - nothing to worry about unless you've done something wrong Cheers, Ryan Jones

When will this medicine rise to the stores?
RyanJ replied to ChenShuiBian's topic in Medical Science
The search is constantly on for an age slowing agent or something too keep people alive longer, the answer is thought to be somewhere in the genes. There will never be something to keep people alive for ever, like rakuenso has said its impractical. People have to die to make room for the next generation - thats the way it is and thats the way it always will be. We can advance our medical knowledge to no end but I don't think we will ever have the cure for death as it were... Cheers, Ryan Jones -
I don't really have a problem with tha name but it does not really mean "death to the creationists" it just means an end to creationism which should happen. Just one persons oppinion but its also Sayonara³'s title here at the forums: http://www.scienceforums.net/forums/member.php?u=52 Cheers, Ryan Jones
