Gravitons... Are there anti-gravitons?
RyanJ replied to RyanJ's topic in Modern and Theoretical Physics
Ah, right. Makes perfect sence. There may be a particle called an antigraviton but it would be identical to that of a raviton so there can't be anti-gravity then Cheers, Ryan Jones -
Why are some people ambidextrous

Gravitons... Are there anti-gravitons? Simple question - most is not all particles have anti particles so does one exist in this case or is it the exception to the anti rule? Also is they do exist would that mean you could make an anti-graity device using them Cheers, Ryan Jones
-
Does that mean Photons and antiphotons are basically the same jsut opposite? Oh I have one question on that point: Do all particles 9Includin the boson force transmitters) have anti-particles? If yes then can there be an anti-graviton? Cheers, Ryan Jones

Not working here. Firefox 1.5B2. Cheers, Ryan Jones

CanadaAotS - in what program did you do that diagram? It looks really good! And the Homer Simpson falling down a black hole (Or was it a wormhole?) is great! I actually think it was a wormhole though as anything that goes into a black hole is destroyed... Cheers, Ryan Jones

I think eruheru may have meant extensions... Plugins basically help to display content in a page whereas extensions add features to the browser. Here are some good extensions I like too use: Enable Right Click 0.3 Ad Block Plus Adblock Filterset.G Updater Gmail Notifier Those are some of my favourites but the list of ones available is HUGE! Cheers, Ryan Jones

You got there first looks like you are the leader of your group then Cheers, Ryan Jones

I agree with that If you meant burn as in oxadise though then a lot of things will... mix just about anything with Fluorine even at low temperatures and it will "burn" - Flurine is nasty stuff... Cheers, Ryan Jones

Thanks for pointing that out dave I'm no expert at C++ (I know enough to get by and thats about it ). I do know about the cin command but I thought I had better leave it as the tree had started Again thanks for pointing that out... Cheers, Ryan Jones

I agree with you ther ebig time. Some of the big holes found by the security testers never get released in the hopes that no-one will notice... Microcrap has hasically left IE to rot for too long and we all know what happens when things rot you dfon't get them back again... but something goos has come out of all this Firefox! Cheers, Ryan Jones

Mokele, did I not say that Buddhism would be the only religion worth keeping? Can you even call it a religion if it does not have a god? Cheers, Ryan Jones

This is the free version of [acr=Pretty Good Privacy]PGP[/acr]. I think it comes with a file that can execute it as needed (Portable) but I'm not shure as I've never had to use it like that If not then it will need to be installed on all computers that need to oepn the file(s). Cheers, Ryan Jones

Actually it can be quite a confusing function All you need to remember is that the order in which you add the replace tags is the order in which you add the stuff to replace them Again good lcuk with learning C++ its a good language Cheers, Ryan Jones
-
Its one and the same, PPG is what its sometimes called (Don't ask my why though ) Cheers, Ryan Jones

I believe what you want is this: #include <stdio.h> int main() { int xo,xt,yo,yt; float grad; printf("Enter the first co-ordinate:\n"); scanf("%d",&xo); scanf("%d",&yo); printf("And the second one:\n"); scanf("%d",&xt); scanf("%d",&yt); grad = (yo-yt)/(xo-xt); printf("Chord of (%d,%d) and (%d,%d)\nGradient: %f", xo, yo, xt, yt, grad); scanf("%f",grad); return 0; } Or the cout way #include <stdio.h> #include <iostream.h> int main() { int xo,xt,yo,yt; float grad; printf("Enter the first co-ordinate:\n"); scanf("%d",&xo); scanf("%d",&yo); printf("And the second one:\n"); scanf("%d",&xt); scanf("%d",&yt); grad = (yo-yt)/(xo-xt); cout << "Chord of (" << xo << "," << yo ") and (" << xt << "," << yt << ")\nGradient: " << grad; scanf("%f",grad); return 0; } Incase you are interested I have a few reference sites you may like too http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ http://www.intap.net/~drw/cpp/ http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial.html And good luck learning C++! I agree and I'd say with out technology right now there is no way to even come close to reproducing a human eye. Maybe working out some way to act like a bypass to the dead nerve cells could work though. I'm shure that could be done with current technology if only we knew how I'm not even shure if dead nerve cells can be re-vived or is that heart cells I don't remember Cheers, Ryan Jones

I'm actually colour blind and have two bad eye dissorders that I will not go into there because you'll be bored to death Anyway is nanochips or the like could be used to fix problems like these then that would be a great use! And if you could somehow replace the neurons that carry the signals from the eyes to the brain then that could also fix even more eye problems... the best idea of all may be to replace the eye with a devide that replicates the eyes fucntions... that may not be possible any time soon though Cheers, Ryan Jones

Just a little note here: If you really want to make your files safe look into something called [acr=Pretty Good Privacy]PGP[/acr] as and lets put this as nicley as possible the WinRAR, Winzip and just about any other encriptions are crap I really reccomend [acr=Pretty Good Privacy]PGP[/acr], there is no known way to forcably break it (Not unless you have a few times the curent age of the universe anyway...) Cheers, Ryan Jones Edit: Changed [acr=Pretty Good Privacy]PPG[/acr] too [acr=Pretty Good Privacy]PGP[/acr] because not everyone knows that [acr=Pretty Good Privacy]PPG[/acr] is the same as [acr=Pretty Good Privacy]PGP[/acr]

Yea but by all rights none of those coutries should exist now anyway... governments like that need to be removed (They will probably destroy themselves through wars in the end I bet )... Oh well... not much we can do about them! Cheers, Ryan Jones

Good point - thats something that would need to be sorted out! Cheers, Ryan Jones
