Didn't I already say that? Also, good explination - makes more sence when you say it that way Cheers, Ryan Jones

I wrote a simple one of these for phpBB once but I did not account for the abuse factor and that complicated things to no end, I had to put in features like rate only for this post if you have posted in the thread and then only allow you to rate once - the implimentations get quite complex when dealing with abuse to the system as any mod writer will attest too. The basic system should not be to hard to impliment but the actual anti-absuse stuff is normally the killer... Cheers, Ryan Jones

Uhum... a little? the last version of IE was released what, 4-5 years ago? If it were not for the Fx and Opera competition now there would bo no IE7 Beta and that I can be shure of... Microcrap did not plan to release IE7 untill Longhorn was finished and then only release it for that [acr=Operating System]OS[/acr] but as always they don't like competition and so they decided to release it early... morons... Edit: Forgot this, 1veedo - I agree with you 100% and thats why Open Source is a much better alternative as it cna get patched faster and new features can also be added faster too Cheers, Ryan Jones

Hydrogen bonding, without it it life cold not exist. Itf formed by the higher electronegativity of the Oxygen trying to pull the electrons closer to its self and in doing so gives the Oxygen atom a slight negative chanrge and the Hydrogen atoms a slight positive charge. This is known as a polar molecule. In water, as per two magnets attracting one and other, the slight positivley charged Hydrogens are drawn to the slightly negative Oxygen atoms and vice versa creating a large set of electrostatic bonds, these give water its cohesive properties and ais also why ice is less dense than water and why water is such a good solvant So, I'd say it is a two-way potential. Did that help at all? Cheers, Ryan Jones

But as I said that covers all life on Earth. Don't forget also that humans don't only break down proteins, there are other molecules that need to be broken down also There are also enzymes that brak down poisons in your blood and the like - when you thin about it considering the size of a single DNA molecule and all the different forms of DNA on the Earth there is no surprise at this number although its much larger than I thought it would be Its hard to imagin but without these little proteins therwe would be no life at all, reactions would occur so slowly or not at all, that life would progress at an immensly slow rate or not at all. Cheers, Ryan Jones

I agree 100% with that its a pain alright! I wonder if someone will come up with an open source alternative for that too.... Cheers, Ryan Jones

Yup, its that damn 1.0.7 upgrade. It should all be fixed though for the 1.5 reliease (Has some nice features in it). IE 7 is a load of crap... its hard to be happy with features that Firefox, Opera and many others had years ago... BTW, Firefox has reached its 100,000,000 downloads! Wooo! Cheers, Ryan Jones

Science required proof or atleast the most logical explination of things and god does not explain that... Its my belief - I'll respect other peoples point of view but I will not pretend to believe god exists. Ryan Jones

Untill I get proof god exists in any way shape or form I believe that the only time the word god should be used in science is along with the words does not exist. Thats just me though - I feel religion and god in any way shape or form provide nothing to humanity and so should be promptly removed. Ryan Jones

It will? I also know what Cyanide will dissolve gold because it too also forms a complex that is stable Cheers, Ryan Jones -
I'm not shure if you have fixed trhis or not yet but for future reference these two sites should help you http://www.positioniseverything.net/ http://www.quirksmode.org/ Cheers, Ryan Jones

Ah, I see thanks jdurg! Cheers, Ryan Jones -
Sounds like an interesting idea though the implimentations and fairness of it could be quite challanging. Cheers, Ryan Jones

It could be a combination of both, each can effect the structure in its own way, the ionic bond is strong but many van der waals forces are strong enough to make a difference also! So its depends Cheers, Ryan Jones

This is the problem faced by all sodtware companies - if they change their software will be made free or keygens will be provided for it. There is no escaping it - everysoftware gets cracked in the end. Basically, its the same with Microcrap, they sell their goods at way too high a price so people don't buy it and then use a keygen or have the system unlocked. I do not cinsider this steeling for two reasons, the first is they overchanrge, the second is I think all software should be free for everyone to use and change, I personlly write little programs and I make them free so, wht shouldent everyone else? Like was stated in this thread it depends on you - if they chanrge more thn I think its worth then I would download the program anyway. I actually have this Mathematica on this computer but my father actulaly baught this copy and I just payed for the upgrade. If I did not have some money spare then I would have just downloaded the newsted version and installed that instead Cheers, Ryan Jones

Yea, that sounds right It actually depends on the specifics of your design also - either way if you contact your local university I'm shure they'll be able to point you in the right direction Cheers, Ryan Jones

Liek the poeple have said in this thread thuis has been posted numerous times before and every conclusion has ended the same, neither side would accept they were wrong. I am an atheist, I think theye is no place in the universe and heres how I see it. Science for the most part can be exaplained but its convenient that god can't be proven or disproven in any manor. Religion changes its ideas as science dissproves the old ones, a great example is the evolution of man, if everything on Earth was created within 6 days then why are ther no fossils of people with dinosaurs? Evolution was proven and the bible was wrong, the religions then changed their view to allow evolution and instead said it was influenced by god. Antyone notice a change there? The only evidence for any ogd is religion, the bible contradicts its self in numerous places and if it were still upto religion we would still be in the dark ages where science and learning were outlawed. Religions cant even agree what gos is so why should anyone else even think twice about it? The way I see it the universe has no need for a creator, if god is here then who created god? We can just skip this and say it was always here but then why can;t we just say the unoverse and the matter where always here in some shape or form? And there lies the problem. For me there if no god, god is an element ceated in peoples minds, no more real than a dream is. I may go to hell but I don't care - I stick with my beliefs. If religion cna ever be proven correct (And Id really like to see this... odds are against it) then I would accept it but untill then no chance. Cheers, Ryan Jones

That would be a bit of a bad description I thibnk because amino acids and other organic cdompounds that involve an R group are not random they are infact highly organised and precise (Proteins coltroled through your [acr=Deoxyriboneucleic Acid]DNA[/acr]). Cheers, Ryan Jones
