  1. Fafalone, there's hope for you yet even though I haven't figured out how to transport a group to Egypt Yet. Still working on it but I'm old and I'm Slow. Try a trial trip to Palanque, Mexico before you get your MD. Put it on your resume that you escaped from a Mexican jail. Back to this anti gravity patent, it sounds like it might take an enourmous amount of energy to be more than diddly and the energy would fry anything near it to be usefully functional. Might even make the last sip of beer really warm. I hate that. Just aman
  2. Once life evolved and differentiated at least as far as the carbon based organism, if a feeding niche was available and it was not too far a stretch than something filled it. Even vastly different evolved "by now"species. Maybe the world was filled by marsupials in isolated places on the Earth long before Australia split away. I've got to think on it more. Just aman
  3. I can picture your situation since I'm 6'5" and I've been down to 145lbs in the past. When I got to 24 yrs I was such a hunk you wouldn't believe it at 175 of solid muscle. Start with a weight class in school and let the teacher bully the hell out of you. Or get a real physical job and make money while you could be lifting weights for nothing. Ya got a great future since you were lucky to be born with less of the fat collecting cells than the average person unless your just not eating enough. A lot of it depends on your eating habits. At least take vitamins since some of the other threads here show if you don't have the certain elements in your body a lot of processses can't take place. Just aman
  4. Damn, all I can say is NEXT YEAR Cornhuskers. just aman
  5. The old anti-gravity beer can trick. The longer you hold it the lighter it gets. Especially cold ones. I've been making beer cans lighter for years. It's expensive technology. Just aman:cool2: :cool2:
  6. My Rams won and Green Bay plays tomorrow, Yoops, today. Bucs eat the big weenie.:toilet: As far as Fafs post, it is really messing with my understanding of the laws of the microcosom. It seems to all go out the window the closer you get. Just aman
  7. I'm for convergent evolution. I think there is a pressure in the microcosom that pushes life to evolve throughout the universe and on earth in just about any way possible. Just my opinion. Just aman
  8. Energy niches is involved also. A small change and a new energy source might be made available. Another change and the concept of parasite might make stealing energy a source. Every niche possible will be filled. Just aman
  9. A virus is a long way from life also. There is a key that we don't have yet but it might be found by one of the searching geniouses here. What caused these amino acids to align into RNA. There has to be an observable recipe following the natural rules that builds these blocks. Just aman

That makes sense to me dudels about finite energy. It won't effect us but it makes an expanding universe or universes finite due to observable entropy. We do seem to have one observable infinity and that would be directions from the big bang. As we leave the vicinity of the big bang we are at a certain angular direction and it changes as we speed away. It's like looking back through binoculars and if one lens is the reference point, then as you get farther the other lenses angle keeps changing and getting smaller. If you leave the universe and see it as a dot with binoculars there is still a different angle between the lenses relative to the big bang and it gets smaller the farther you go. Just aman
  11. I hope to be around to hear how you went into downtown with a little money and were able to keep it. Remember though, keep your money, at least more than you need someplace else than your wallet. Buy a jacket with a zipper pocket. When you are in a crowd get a habit of having your thumb on your wallet, make it instinctive. If you grab somebody elses hand on your wallet, let them go or you might get stabbed by a team member if you start making a scene. I've seen the Colombian teams work and they are recognized as top of the line. If you spot them setting you up as a newbie just look one of them in the eyes and brush your hands together. The one your looking at will brush his hands together and call it off to his team. Just one simple hint that might help in the future. Just aman
  12. You haven't met everybody who pops in and I've been surprised myself by the amount of talent here. See ya and glad to see your having a good time.. Just aman
  13. I see an analogy of pouring light oil on water. A big bang drop will spread in a circle on the water and after reaching a certain thinness will after time disappear due to entropy. Or if the addition of oil never ceased the circle would get ever bigger. Also the thinner oil at the edges might seem to accelerate away from the center faster than the oil near the middle of the circle. Are there any theories that the big bang was not just a single bang but a continious flow of energy from somewhere? I think it's possible. Just aman
  14. Thanks Fafalone, I made a copy and will read it after supper. I scanned it and found it to be great stuff but I will need quite and concentration and right now it's Sunday and I'm watching football. Just aman
  15. Howdy CJ, It's sounds like you have some personal experience in the technology. Does it sound feasable to you? Just curious And nice to meet you. Just aman
  16. Don't mean to trouble you Faf since I can do searches too, but if you have something specific available, I'd like to see it also Thanks Just aman
  17. Come to New York, or Los Angeles and get a $12 a night flop and get to know the real cities. Have you taken a weekend to go to the big city in the UK and get the worst accomadations you can get. Dress crappy and go meet the real UK. A couple of cheap weekends will be better than a world tour, but you have to survive. If you don't get killed, you win. It makes you sharp because you run into every kind of evil there is and some of the most courageous good people also. Just a suggestion. Just aman
  18. Yah, it seems our galaxy will be pretty lonely in the future except for the big crash coming with our neighbor. I hate it when that happens. The evidence for a big crunch though of our universe seems to be losing support due to those findings. Just aman

It's odd that our great minds can not even visualize infinity. My mind can go out and see the universe as a speck in the distance. It can grow small and see tiny pieces of quarks as big to me as our universe. It sees an empty universe waiting for a big bang. It can see energy still streaming into our universe on the microcosmic level from somewhere infinitely strange. There should be plenty of energy for billions of more years to keep the universe existing. Just aman
  20. If there are bacteria fossils in meteorites then they are only a few DNA steps from creatures with eyes. Locating food is a great pressure for evolution. Just aman
  21. I've got to do some research since I don't know the DNA of the sulfer based life forms by the black smokers. I imagine their eyes would develop in the infrared ranges. Gotta check. Just aman
  22. Might be a big alien turd comet hit the Earth. But I imagine they would want to recycle if they passed by and wouldn't eject a big turd. Maybe some really fat guy in the future tried to come into the past and wound up as black blobs over a whole city. Just aman
  23. Well stick around here and it might all come into your grasp. Keep asking questions. This forum is useful and helpful on all levels although you have to depend on Faf and others for the real technical stuff.:bravo: :bravo: just aman:cool2:
  24. It's looking at biology from a physical science perspective. A lot of it is on the molecular level, like permeability, magnetic interactions, electrical charges, and things like that. MRI's are a product of bio-physics. Having a good understanding of chemistry helps. CO2 is a product of respiration but bio-physics will tell you why at the proton, electron level of interaction of molecules. Just aman
  25. I don't understand why the power of the US isn't more focused on a few of the really great problems. We really can do anything with devoted great minds and proper funding and support. But NOOOoooooo. We just keep putting fingers in the leaks of a big wall instead of building a new one. We're running out of fingers and everybodies getting wet. Just aman
