Extended life along with other medical advancements wouldn't be a problem in the advanced world with a handle on birth control. It would be hell if the third world had it available. Just aman

I imagine a universe without life that begins, exists, then ends. If I start it over again under the exact circumstances we should have a duplicate beginning, existance, and end. Over and over the cosmic billiards is set up and identicaly played out. With life though, the universe may take different directions each time due to our choices. I feel we add the chaos. Just aman

It's a fake e-bay notice and E-bay is all pissed about it. Just aman

An artificial intelligence uses a random number generator to pick a number. Through life we have a familiarity with certain numbers and maybe a prejudice toward some. Our decision is not truely random like a computer. We can say no, and not chose a number at all. I think we evolved to have free will to make choices but the choices can be pretty predictable due to our previous general choices in life that made us who we are. I'd like to think I am responsible for who I am. Just aman

I'm just guessing but if ATP is the final product then is ADP the original material being upgraded? Now we are talking about photosynthesis or is this also happening in human mitochondria? Help me? Just aman

Most of being a true genius is being unassuming and aware. For every Einstein there were thousands that also had their impact but were not recognized. I like the way blike presents ideas and asks for discussion. He doesn't present absolute answers but just the current beliefs backed by fact and still asks for discussion. I didn't say blike was a genius in any particular academic field. The world is a big place and we need geniuses of generality as much as we need specialists. Just my opinion. Just aman

Sometimes schools don't recognize genious. I can find a hundred people on the street who will agree with me. Just aman

Thanks for bringing this up because we've come a long ways since my college biology. You made me do some research. krebs cycle I read further that the longer your krebs cycle cranks with some vigor,so do you into old age. Krebs, don't fail me now. Just aman

I've got no problems with any parts excluding the brain. If we mess with brains I think it would be one of the greatest travesties of our existance as humans because we are not prepared. Just aman

Free will would only be violated if we tied people up and sent them into the future against their will. Our past is inviolate Whether free will exists is a good subject for debate. Just aman

So your saying you slept with every girl in your psych class? Maybe the ugly ones were why you twitched. Just aman

I'm getting old. I could use some parts already. A little hair again might be nice. Just aman

I may have slept through classes but I was there. I always remembered though the rule about "what is the sound of one hand clapping?". It's pretty loud against your nodding off head. Just aman

I checked it out Syntax. It seems it will be useful piggybacked on other recognition software but as we age, I feel how we walk day to day will have a lot to do with how our backs felt when we woke up in the morning. Thanks for the new info Just aman

I think cloning is a stop gap effort because it only produces lesser copies. To clone a body part, it won't be perfect but close and it won't last as long as the original but it will do. To clone to perfection, if that's where your going, I don't know how they could do that. If we want "close" clones I guess we will be able to make them soon. Just aman

Like you never get tired in a boring class with stuff you already know? If you always get to class alert Faf I suggest you need some time to loosen up and party. Real genious requires a lot of hard work and and enough partying to at least make an ass of yourself once or twice in class. Thats how I got there. Just aman

I just grabbed it off another site but I almost joined the brown underwear club when I played it. Just aman

Do you guys get all those free elect. eng. magazines with the latest products? If you work for a company that buys chips they put you on their list if you give them your name. At least they did in the '80s. It was a nice line to the top of the line. Just aman

The EPA is pushed to be results oriented in every case they investigate. They may have been pushed to make a hasty and comparativly inexpensive fix just to show the money is doing something while the real expensive and dangerous sites wait. Too bad an independant research wasn't done. Just aman

Dell been very good to me. I'll check next time just to see what variety they used but my PC cranks 24/7 with no problems. Thanks for the info. We used to attach finned heat sinks with a special heat conductive goo back when I worked with prototypes. How about running a coolant through the sockets holding the surface mount chips? Maybe build the coolant channels through one of the boards layers? That way you could operate a laptop with a little can fo freeze spray attached in the hottest deserts. Just aman

What about the difference between sunny California cities and Minnesota cities? How many gay Eskimos are there? Actually trying to project animal or insect results on humans is no more than a clue and probably a wrong clue as to how we work. It was an interesting train of thought and familiar. Reminds me of one of our former members but the problem is I agree with you Faf and ain't dumb enough to argue stupid and baseless reason. But I kind of miss the nitwit. Just aman
