  1. I vominate Zarkov to be the moderator. Just aman:banme:
  2. Since the builders had to build in layers they put the door in while they stood above it. Then they continued to build the shaft untill they stood above the next door and placed it. Then they continued to build beyond. Then they put all the good stuff in and enclosed it. Papers on super water and maps and maybe even a lawn mower and weed eater. Maybe? Just aman
  3. Yah, I screwed up on my representation of a monopole. You can't hide one pole. All it does is shorten the length of the magnetic field bringing the two poles closer together. Just aman
  4. I wanna see. It sure goes too slow once they find something. Thanks Zarkov. Just aman

    I can run a lot higher but I stick to 800X600. It's OK with me. Just aman:cool2: :cool2: :cool2:
  6. How do you slow down the speed of light? Aim it through a Post Office. Just aman:lame:
  7. I am trying to picture your model. Does the fan blow horizontaly across the board or is it blowing down from the top, north to south? Does the fan have a rheostat control to increase and decrease its power? Just aman
  8. Nature should have a website to make all the info available about a month after the magazine comes out. I'm looking forward to it. Give em hell Zarkov. Just aman
  9. Thanks Faf. It's been twenty years since I had my head in a school book so I appreciate your patience Thanks for the equations. Math can go where no one has gone before and even when you sitting down or trying to get to sleep. It's just that some of it makes sense mathematicaly but not logically or is at least difficult. Just aman
  10. It seems what we have learned is that in controlled situations we have constants. Outside of controlled situations things start to disagree. I hate it when that happens. Just aman
  11. One of my favorite equations is e^(pi*i) + 1 = 0 Please explain what "i" is in this equation. Thanks Just aman
  12. Monopoles would make a device easier. Using like charges to repel and collecting the energy from the device. Can a monopole be made by taking a permanent bar magnet and dipping one pole in lead so only one pole is exposed? Just aman
  13. Thanks Blike. I imagine the incredible magnetic fields created by the neutron star are what gives the system its shape snd funnels the particles out of one of its poles. I want to go see it close up. I was suprised the star was that small. Just aman
  14. OK. You have the mechanism to open the airlock with the barrels descending energy. The airlock is slanted and contains 60 gal. volume. The airlock empties and the barrel needs to be inserted. The door needs to be sealed and the other door needs to open. The extra ten gallons of air is compressed as the airlock is flooded. This compressed air could be used pneumatically to insert the next barrel, close the airlock and open the one on the wet side. Then close the wet side door. I still can't find the error. Just aman

    Our Origins

This is pseudoscience but I propose that there is a general tendency for any enviroment to use surounding energy to build on itself and in circumstances even build towards a sentient organism. It is a natural compromise between no energy and an abundance of energy. The abundance follows some natural law to become us. I feel the instructions could be followed by many different circumstances in our universe. It's not an accident but a natural progression. Just my opinion. Just aman
  16. We sleep like we do because we live in this wonderful place which is safe day to day if we stay aware. We aren't living in an enviroment that forces us to express the contents of our genes. We are equiped to be so much more than we ever imagined and we realize so little. True recharging sleep   is easy in minutes when you work with you mind and body and not against it. Analyze your goals and when you are going the right direction and feel it, then sleep comes easy and finishes quickly. Just aman
  17. it seems we have chemicals now than can contribute to unrestrained growth due to our cancer research and other human biological research. Human cells are so much more difficult than plant cells to work with so we should be able to control continuous reproduction of fruit meat. A fruit should be able to grow as large as we want. I think a little research money is warrented. Just aman
  18. I know most perpetual motion ideas are complicated to hide the flaw and I have a complicated one that I can't find the error in. Imagine a 1000 ft dam. I roll a 50 gal barrel full of water off the dry side onto a chain mechanism that generates energy until the barrel is at the bottom. I empty the barrel. Then I open an airlock at the base of the dam and put the empty barrel in and close the door. On the wet side I open the airlock and the barrel rises conected to another chain to harness the rising energy. When it surfaces I fill it with water and send it back down the dry side. All I have lost is the water from the barrel at the base of the dry side and the water that fills the airlock after each cycle. That's maybe 110 gal. of water. On the surface it seems there would be a net gain of energy. Just aman
  19. It sounds like the galaxy is full of places for carbon based life forms. They could be pretty nasty when we can go out and see them up close. Water means they could form simple and if the tendency is to evolve over time into sentience then we may not be alone. It's just hard for me to believe we are an accident but more of a tendency of the universe. Just aman
  20. I hope they made a ton of money off the commercials and Nat. Geo. is going to use it for more digs out there. The TV special would have been horrible except I recorded it and watched it later. Thank God for fast forward. I say blow the door and move on to the next. Just aman
  21. You just won my vote Sayonara. Just aman
  22. It's to bad so much crap is available. The discipline of finding peyote or shrooms or pot and preparing them proper makes the experiences worth a shit. Buying a pill or capsule makes stuff available to many who aren't ready and nobody knows who the chemist was or what he did to prepare the drugs. We all need to grow but some aren't ready and wind up doing the Thorazine Shuffle the rest of their lives. Just aman
  23. The angles of the two triangle parts are not equal so switching them on the second figure does not give you a true hypotenuse. It bulges to an area of 1 square. I'll let you do the math Just aman
  24. There is also the propulsion by directed nuclear explosions. It's a lot more messy but it will work on paper. Maybe if we could get near the sun with a large nickel slab and a collector on the far side for containing the anti-matter produced we could have a source closer to us. The sun is like a massive tevetron covered ball, full of streams of protons that sometimes come apart into solar flares and spray into our solar space. A factory on Mercury collecting anti-matter from the sun sounds great to me. I'd go. Just aman

Can't catch me Faf. I'm old, been everywhere, done everything, and have just too much wisdom to share on everything. I'm gonna be around for a while still. I thought you already had 2000 posts before you reset the counter. That I might not catch for a while. See ya. Just aman:cool2: :cool2: :cool2:
