  1. Drp; no i havent but will take a look thanks. Reguarding the discussion of the speed of the suit, think it should be edged more toward being freely moving around the body when worn in that sense of speed.
  2. haha yes probably not the beso of names to have, for this tho its more about how to generate the energies from said power suply with similar capabilities. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedmokele, i agree with what you mean about the faster is normally weaker so thats what i thought i'd bring this up for
  3. wasn't sure if this belongs in this section but its here now.. To be clear, this isn't a fanatical thing or talking up the movie. I like most of the more recent movies for what they are, movies, but they have a very logical and real use of the possible technologies we are looking at. wouldn't think I am the first one to think of this so direct a link if anyone knows of anything related. existing technology, ideas, theoretical ideas or trialed technology, etc... the question for discussion is, with the idea that the power source was possible now, in what ways would a suit similar to that in Iron Man be made? in relation to the mechanics of the movement of it, protection of the user, use of the power system for creating a means of flight and different uses or any other issues raised. up for discussion, input and anything others might not be aware of. i have already givin this though....
  4. hi, I fly rc planes and helis and once had the thought similar to yours of being able to build some of the flying things out of the more simple things. The easiest way to get your idea off the ground would be with a counter rotating system i agree but even this setup is reasonably complicated in the electronics which would be easier and probably cheaper to buy the electronic setup and then u know thats one thing that should work if the others don't. The reason building an rc helicopter from scratch is due to the need for everything to be precise, remember you have blades spinning at a high speed just to get off the ground and small vibrations at this speed can do numerous things to the flight depending how bad. Idon't want to scare you from it and infact wish you luck, but it would probably be cheaper to get a pre built one and fly from there. hope you find this helpful.
