  1. Yea, you can stain some of them, but mostly you look at them under a different light. its easier. looks very cool. i want one. looks like there is the gasses in the tray.... I dont think they will have the "decently" radioactive ones, as the said in the title "contains 92 naturally occuring elements" so my guess is they dont put the radoiactive isotopes in onlty the stable isotopes
  2. Ive read the book, i had to in high school (i choose the book though), it made some sense to me but tbh not that much, quite a heavy going book
  3. No, for either of them. The figures of which elude me at present are so small for injuries incurred in bus CRASHes are very small. Plus the driver of the bus should very rarely get into those situations where a seatbelt is needed. Plus arent bus's not allowed over 80kph? thats the law here in NZ....tis not that fast
  4. I dont think it would be silver due to the Cl2 gas as said above, im gonna go away and dig for awnser's. How much does silver sell for? the blowtorch part makes me think it is ionic and rather strong...how long od you have to blow torch it for?

    Hacking...

Well the binging has gone down so im back, quite alot of response Firstly i aint jailed...yet. Um to what YT was asking about the malicious part/joking you were correct in what you were saying when "it was a what if" type ting of which went drastically wrong...i thought it would of been funny to do it, to see if it actually worked, Oh yea another thing im NEVER allowed to touch a computer in the school again Damn stupidity...the school runs a complete network (highschool my Last year) so i dont know how many comps have to be fixed, but my computer station of which i work at has been shipped away for diagnostics The worst part is they make me feel like the guy off the movie hackers (his name was crash too!) 1337 bs hax!
  7. When they are acclerating, thrust is greater When decclerating, resistance is greater When constant, the forces are equal

    Hacking...

well sort of, but thats what ive been charged with at school...so i will have alot more time on my hands to whore the forums..... I gets suspended...along with never being allowed to touch a computer in the school again.....PLUS 5000$ repair bill can ya believe it! pi$$ing me off, all i did was install a keylogger, disabled the antivirus software adn created a batch file to load it onto everycomputer every time new ones start up, set up an ftp to route all the info to my email everytime they go online.... and made the files hidden and deleted all the stuuf off my comp to hide me tracks, but they had everything logged on a linux server.. Do you really think i deserve the punishment i am givin? oh yea i said a few abusive things to the teach aswell in the logger....

    Magnetism

Electrons pair in opposite spinning directions, this is how they form cooper pairs, In some metals the electrons spin the same way so the negative charges dont cancel out, thus creating a attraction....tihs is a very broad explainatoin and is incorrect if you can understand teh true theory to magnetism, "electromagmnetic" means that the material is artifically magnet by creating a coil and passing electricty through it. electrostatic force is what you mean....
  10. Qualatative is observations as opposed to quantative figures and sums. Distallatoin is effective if you have several (known) substances and know their relative boiling points. e.g. fractional distallation of hydrocarbons. Or to purify something eg seperating water from the contaminants Concentrated samples contain alot more of a substance and are more pure. Diluted is when water is added to decrease the concentration in substance. e.g. a shot of Rum is more concentrated, as opposed to the rum content of Rum&coke The seperation of solutions sounds right.. factors that effect the rate of dissolving are -Surface area -Tempreture -pH (sometimes) -Catalyst -Concentration Distallation is the process by which liquids or gases are heated where some or all of the components are heated to a specific tempreture this in turn seperates them due to different materials having different boiling or melting points. This is what happens if you have a pure water distiller. the usual contaminints have alot higher boiling points than 100 degrees C so remain at the bottom of teh container while water is evaporated off, and recondensed in a new container....although its said to be pure its not really that good, PURE water is very very expensive, and if i might add quite delicious (i got my ass booted for it though;) http://lorien.ncl.ac.uk/ming/distil/distil0.htm http://ull.chemistry.uakron.edu/chemsep/distillation/
  11. Yea, i play underwater hockey and can hold my breath for about five minutes (while playing hard out underwater), the down side is for extremists they grow abnormal lungs which end up sticking out the bottom of your rib cage which looks horrible. There are soem long term affetcs for very long times like killing of some brain cells through oxygen depletion.
  12. Well AMDs got the multitasking going on...... Intel has the cooler running CPU.... VIA is cheap Dont know about MAcs
  13. You really need to be told?........your worst nightmares
  14. They can go that low, thoeritically but realistically i dont think they go past -1 (HF) Does anyone know of pH's below this? of an actual acid not just different concentrations of Hydronium
  15. So when is that.....when do you find out?
  16. How many states of matter can there be? is there a finite amount to varitaions that can exist (and im not talkign naturally existing)
  17. casonova.... No seriously i always wanted to be SIS, or secret agent of some type.....i still ahev that dream but its not really fesible in the country i live in (NZ)
  18. Ive lost several ones aswell! all that work GONE! pfffftt
  19. Ok S8 + O2 --> SO2 SO2 + O2 <-- --> SO3 (exothermic, SO2 side is favoured!) SO3 + H2O --> H2SO4 (extremely dangerous fog! must take EXTREME caution) You only need Sulfuric acid to turn your new sulfuric acid into oleum (H2S2O7) to be safely transoprted
  20. I have lost many a memorys to booze, and to this day cant remember them even when my mates reminded me of what i had done......of which im never proud off:(
  21. water being a liquid transfers heat better, and due to convection currents would carry heat more specifically, metals hold heat more whereas gas's and liquids dissapate heat faster aswell
  22. http://www.ausetute.com.au/sulfacid.html
  23. What country do you live in?, how old are you?
  24. Well plain evaporation woould work if you had a pure NaCl solution, as for your method multiple towels very close together...the only problem is to seperate the towels and teh crystakls afterwards
  25. Amazing......
