  1. that's the part i'm lacking knowledge in. all that pheromones stuff. is there some sort of chemical imbalance with homosexuals?
  2. i don't think that i was actually bashing on them. i wasn't refering to gays in general. i was just saying that this particular group of people that i saw weren't the most attractive. could these people have had some major events in their lives at an earlier age without you knowing? i'm willing to bet that psychological statistics would point more towards that of a traumatized individual.
  3. oh yeay, i didn't intend for this to come out as a gay-bashing post so i hope i didn't sound that way in the begining.
  4. this is probably more of a joke than anything else but this is a miscillaneous observation/inquiry on the subject. i work at a television studio in Burbank ca. yesterday we had the first taping of a new show called the Ellen Degeneres Show. as you all may or may not know, Ellen is female and is gay. she is probably one of the more notable gay females in the US. the show had a live audience for the taping. let me tell you, these were some of the most hideous looking females i have ever seen. they were gay. they came in couples, holding hands. girl and girl, boy and boy. it was not a pretty sight. hell, i couldn't tell some of the guys from the girls. it wasn't like the movies where you see some hot ass girls, hell no. these were some creatures. well the whole point that i'm getting to is this, when a person is born, i don't believe that they are gay. i think that sexual preference isn't even a consideration until later on in life. obviously babies and children aren't able to comprehend the notion of sexuality. i don't believe that homosexuality is hereditary(?). i believe that homosexuality is a result of some sort of traumatic event in a person's life (mental or physical) that triggers the change in sexual preference. granted, i haven't had any research time on the subject so i'm just throwing this out there but i just can't believe that it is something that is passed down through generations. obviously, homosexuality can be triggered by traumatic events in a persons life but is it just that? can anything erlse trigger it? i don't believe that it's a natural thing. i think that by default (?) everyone is straight. it's the normal thing. what can change a person's sexuality?
  5. sad but true. funny stuff.
  6. i don't really feel this way. i was just kidding. but they wuz kinda stupid though.
  7. we have this really stupid guy at work that we hope doesn't breed. the reason for not wanting him to breed is that his brother used to work with us as well and he was stupid as hell too. leads me to the conclusion that stupidity is hereditary. these people should not be given the opportunity to breed!!! ignorance can be helped. stupidity is just wrong.
  8. there's alot of smart people on these boards. i've been busting a brain cell reading alot of the threads here. was wnodering if any of you guys or gurls written any papers on anything science related. i wouldn't mind giving feedback. anyone ever published?
  9. man, i was suprised to see there was no significant increase in crime during the outage. man if that would have happened here in LA, i would have had me a new 48'' plasma TV. oh well. looks like i'll have to wait till the end of the kobe trial.
  10. they are all "the one". there's too many of them to settle for just one. there is an abundance of women that are attractive, smart (or not), and have alot in common with you. the trick is settling for just one.
  11. ok, how far did you guys go before giving up?
  12. must be good to be the gumment.
  13. don't matter what happens, you get screwed anyway you look at it.
  14. yeah, didn't you see men in black 2?
  15. you're in a whole other ball park when it comes to sueing the government. they can do what they want.
  16. stopping production of heroin would be the best solution. i don't know if it can be done but i know we can at least put a dent in the production. it might be hard on the rehabilitation part of it. another solution (although not a good one, in fact a terrible one) would be to bring about another drug that is better. drugs suck. never touched em.
  17. i didn't read the whole article but you're right. them is some ooogly crop circles. that alien must have been drunk.
  18. i know of two people that claim to have add. my best friend (23)can't concentrate on anything for too long before he starts getting distracted. he also forgets minor things easily. he used to work with me until he got fired for poor work performance. he would have projects to do and would forget what he needed to do. i don't know shit about add but i think that he would legitamately qualify for having it. the other person is my girlfriend (22). she claims to have add but i have seen no proof of it (but then again, what do i know of it?). i think she says she forgets things and can't focus to get attention. she also says she has depression. when she failed her psychology classes, she atribbuted it to her add. i had noticed that she was getting bad grades so i encouraged her to study better and i even gave her suggestions/help but she still failed. i think thatif she does have add, it would be extremely mild and would not affect her significantly. can add affect people this drastically? can it differ as greatly as this or is it possible that she wants to have add and automatically assumes she has it. does that amke sense?
  19. is funding the problem in the UK? how hands on is the government there? do they have complete control? if i'm not mistaken, the medical field is highly profitable in the US.
  20. is it that bad of a problem in europe? i'm in the US and i have never heard of such instances of behavior in hospitals. i can see how politicians could abuse this system and use it as leverage.
  21. do you think it could work though?
  22. nhs?

besides, there has to be a million way to end someone's life that is cost effective. also would we allow this for criminals that are incarcerated? their quality of life has been significantly reduced. should we ease our burden of having to house these people or if they wanted to be killed then do it? another one of those premature thoughts. not much thought went into these.

here are my thoughts on the matter, just in case anyone was going to ask me. like i said in another thread, the government should control all aspects of the medical field including this one. sure legalize it. but make it available to those that could no longer enjoy life. how can we determine that? i don't know. the best thing to do is to have a team of doctors, psychiatrists and experts on stuff and above all else, completely government controlled.
  25. hell, you mean that he's not actually a rancher?
