Have you taken or at least read the source material for a collage level biology course? I assume no given the nature of your post. If so I recommend: The Structure of Evolutionary Theory by Gould by Stephen Jay Gould ISBN 0-674-00613-5 If you want a methodical, technical, and scientifically vetted work on the subject then that would be the most pertinent source outside of taking an actual coarse on the subject. You can not produce more energy from a system then it would thermodynamically allow. The energy you input in to work the generator would not break even, let alone produce extra. If you are generating excess power then you either store or sell the extra depending on your needs.

That, as awesome as it sounds, would be super massive overkill. It would be on the order of using ICBM equipped with multiple nuclear warheads to rid your dog of fleas. Just a small chunk of neutronium moving even at somewhat conventional speeds would be more then enough kinetic energy to devastate the planet. The weapon described would be something I would use to destroy Dyson Sphere type objects, that is, technology of type II civilization(one that is harnessing nearly all the energy of a star by building a sphere around it to capture the majority of the radiation to convert it into usable energy of some form).
