You do the testing for one distance later when you have al the data you can easely recalculate for further or closer.
-
- I would take the 1/'viewfrequenty' about 1/20sec ? (freq when a wheel seems to rotate backward, I think) -And the distance of the smallest noticable resolution. speed=disctance*20 (v=ds/dt) BTW there are no pics in the PDF, but I'm to lazy to read it though.

That's normal, I'm a slow starter Neg. Time: I logout first and then I login All other people do it the other way around serious: I logged in while traveling at almost light speed and that messed up the time on the server, I wont do it agian, sorry.
-
Of course it was a joke. (You will sure say that you had enough iron after that) Anyway call a good coroner.. I mean doctor.
-
Yes, hit your head with an IRON a few times and let us know if it's better Sorry I don't know any medical stuf, but couldn't resist to respond.

How real are the laws of physics in your dream.

LOL, well better than notting, I always have sound though. (16bit 44.100KHz I think -
6th grade science which age is that ?

I also dreamed about the lottory numbers and they were all correct !!!! (a pity that I dreamed it after that they published the right numbers Serious: any thoughs about how good other persons in your dream are modeled? (personality, etc) -

Hi Pincho, So you are aware that you dream a lot of the time? Could you do an experiment for me and try to overload the visual process center. with the end result to wake yourself up on command. how? by choosing to look at different things fast, the more new objects/details you see the better. disclaimer: I'm not responsible for any headaches -
What continuous: with that I wanted to refer to DC, leak current, etc. with periodic: I wanted to refer to AC, antenne current, etc. "would expect to find it" Gives a lot of room for interpretation here. I don't like that. with 'based on the highest probable position' I want to exclude movement that is based on unlikely statistic-chances. (we wouldn't get anywhere if we include that in the def.)

I hope he is joking with 'The Matrix' Of course it isn't true I should be dead a 100 times by now (probably more). LOL I do wake up though when I die (of course because the movie lost its main actor -
- You are still confusing the difference between the fact that the voltage is present and the fact that measuring it will influence it more or less (depending on how ideal your device is) BTW attaching a voltmeter between them will most likely just have removed the present static voltage) - lightning: I was obviously referring to the situation before the discharge. (BTW the current doesn't make the sound it's the heated air that does that)
-
about definitions I would go for: Electron movements: When the average displacement of electrons is different from zero based on the highest probable positions. Current: continuously and/or periodical electron movements. This should help us having less confusing talks. about measurring electrons/E-field (voltage). The voltage between A B is equal to the electrical field strength integrated from A to B. and Voltage is Q (charge, the amount of electrons) devided by the capacitance (between A B). P.S. I wasn't able to post for a few day's. (forum/PC problems)

Let's make it simple first what are the pressures in function of time of a air column after the release of gravity (or free-fall) ones we have that 'we' can calculate the pressure on the balloon over time. The pressure ballancing will go as fast as the speed of sound I guess. Your allowed to be a factor of 5 wrong I just want ot have an idea.
-
anyone willing to do a guess/calculation on the speed of the balloon before all forces are zero? Very small if you ask me.I think using the word 'wind' is an overstatement here.
-
The question says it's free-fall. (your weight will be zero on your elevator scale.) There is no buoyant force.
-
First something else: Hip hip hurray, I received my first email notification from this forum. I still don't understand your question. What do you want to measure its position its speed? and with current do you also mean the movement of electrons in a metal to one side because they are attracted to it or do you only say current when we have a closed constant current loop.
-
In free-fall you have the same effect as if there was no gravity. The only reason the balloon goes up or down is due to the different weight of the gasses and it's own weight but if there is no gravity effect then there is no different weight for the baloon to move. So it will remain it's position. (about the same like swansont said)
-
everything has a little capacitance so you will need to move those electrons to put that voltage there. How the voltage came there in the first place is beside my point it was only to show that the present potential can be measured by measuring it's electrical field. And measuring voltage without letting one electron move is never possible because electrons are moving all the time in metal. So it's a bit like saying measure gas pressure but without letting molecules move. They are already moving before you start.
-
on the first day there was voltage. on the second day He created current. It's like saying force can't exist without moving.
-
BTW you say: 'there is no perfect isolation with the exception......' It is possible to make a 'mosfet' that way but I doubt they will do it to please you. You also seem to have drifted from your original point of view to an other thought problem. (Keeps us guessing what it is you don't understand) Saying 'current can't exist without voltage' is like saying static electricity doesn't exist (independant if you can measure it or not)
-
So what you are trying to say is that it's not possible to measure an electrical field without changing it's potential/voltage. Do you know a device called an electroscope? http://www.engr.uky.edu/~gedney/courses/ee468/expmnt/escope.html electrical field is 'measured' without even one elektron jumping. What do you mean with 'perfect radiation sheild' you want to measure it but not detect it ??? BTW air is also a perfect isolator until the elektrons jump because the voltage/force is to big.
-
How to measure: measure electrical field. A simple mosfet wil do. The gate doesn't draw current and a voltage on it is very noticeable on the drain source current. There is leakage but doesn't change the idea/working, with a perfect isolation it would still work. MOSFET: Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor- Field-Effect-Transistor
