I would agree that if we all used the same units, the world would be a lot easier place to live, observe, and learn. Changing to all the same units, however, would effectuate chaos. It has been tried before, who knows if it will ever succeed.

Maybe the foundation, but I don't think it will progress the Unification theory - there will need to be some more break-throughs than that.

Isn't that how the planets and such formed, gravity between many particles which kept adding and adding? It does seem strange for tiny specks to gravitate eachother but it would be relativity weak because of their masses.

Has anyone read the Dark Tower series? They are great books. This isn't science related but I'm bored and wondering if anyone else read it. I would recommend it.

It uses the second letter in the word of the number and corresponds that to the number that letter is in the alphabet. oNe tWo tHree fOur fIve sIx, the i in the sixth is the 9th letter. I don't know how to do spoilers but it was already solved so I think its ok.

Someone said earlier that acceleration due to gravity is not always constant because something might not be moving when in the presence of gravity. I thought that if you remain at the same distance from the center of gravity that it is always constant. The acceleration is constant but there are forces pushing upward (Newton's third law via the ground in most cases) counteract the force of gravity. Is this true? I'm not sure. kinda curious though.

Too many things went wrong with nuclear energy so they closed down most the plants didn't they. If they were to reassess and use new technology to make it safer nuclear energy could be used couldn't it? They had that one plant have a meltdown because of bad safety precautions and slow actions but we could have a much safer one now.

I find it hard to believe that 98% of the applicants have a 1590 or higher on the SAT, is this true?

Yea i was watching tv and the mayor of new orleans placed a mandatory evacuation and said that the levy system would fail. There will be bad flooding in the area and it may be there for 6 months they said. I sure hope this does not happen.

When they dig up old remains of humans they judge the brain size to show how smart they were. I think that a larger brain capacity would show that the species is smarter. But within that species the brain weight would have little to do with the intelligence.

I think XY chromosone pair is normal and XX means you are female. Disorders may come from XXY and XYY i think. Is this right. I also agree that some men don't care and would not have wanted to try hard is they did not think they were smart. Many men are ignorant it seems like. Hey so does anyone on here live in the way of Katrina? I suppose they won't be on though. Be interesting to hear from them when they get back. I agree about the hurricane catagory one, many people underestimate them (i was inside watching tv)

Although the study used a large group of people I also wouldn't be surprised if another study came out the other way. I have heard the iq system is old and not 100% accurate. What's your opinion's on this.

I think this is not such a great program. I but "bathroom" and got "nothing does it like a bathroom" and "let the bathroom take the strain" and "This is the age of the bathroom". I guess it just has many slogans and inserts your word into a place in a random one. Most of the time they make no sense because of this. I dont think its too great.
