Ugh semantics. Low. Either way, I may not understand biology as well as you but regardless, the Alien would still be more impressed with Humans (my reasoning being an Alien which developed technology to space travel would be enigneers like us). The original point of the tread was to say humans are not impressive. And to any mind that can ask "why?" such as ours (the only species on the planet which this is obvious and proven) they would easily choose ours.

And more of bears getting pwned by humans I must still hold true to my belief that if an alien came to Earth it would find Homo Sapien to be the most impressive species on the Planet.

Umm because they all lack the complex civilization and interactions with the world that we do? Animals lives center mostly around survival. Ours center around luxory (albeit this is a new "invention") "yea....try it without technology" Depends on your definition of technology. Do you consider stone working a technology? Cause if you allow that, then pick an animal and I will give you a plan to kill it. Without stone working tech, I will admit we would most likely not survive.

I fail to see how modern Homo Sapien cannot survive off of hunter gathering as we did for millions of years. Its still on our genes, and if worse comes to worse we can resort to that again and still be on the top of the food chain. Thats impressive to me.

I dont get where you are going with this. What is the point? Do you mean that we devolved ourselves? Either way, if a cataclysm occurs and we die off due to it, I am sure we will not be the only species to go. So how does that make us any less impressive then the next dieing species? Life will go on either way... I mean you would have to totally sterilize the planet core to crust to eliminate all life from the planet.

... and is the only animal that can leave the planet... and is the only animal that can explain evolution and many other scientific concepts...

Alls I know is I am now sitting in a nice comfortable living room, using electricity to communicate with people thousands of miles away without fear of any animal harming me. No other creature on Earth can claim that.

We are still much more "safer" then most species, for our good or bad. You cant blame it being bad for the sake of our mastery, since other factors cause it to be bad, not the mastery itself. edit: sorry about the grammar, I suck.

I mean simply since time itself is just a measurement of energy in motion, to travel in "time" would require changing every particle in the entire universe. If I went back in "time" the existence that I was in would no longer be there since most matter cannot exist in two places at the same "time." I dont know if I am being clear, or perhaps I am not grasping this concept in the correct way.
