  1. You weren't being harsh, you just wanted me to do it on my own. I completely understand. I'm sure there are many people that come to this site just to get an answer. I just need help because I'm not that knowledgable in science and I just need some guidence once in awhile. Thanks again!
  2. When I do the punnett square I get that 50% would have the dominant A phenotype and the possible genotypes would be Aa, aa, Aa, aa. Is this correct? I don't want the answer if it's not, I will just run through the steps again. Thanks
  3. I'm having a little trouble figuring this out, can anybody help me understand how to do this? If A is dominant to a, in the cross between Aa x aa, what percentage of individuals will have the A phenotype? What are all the possible genotypes? Thanks!

    Cloning

    lol genetically speaking

    Cloning

    Exactly the same.
  6. What variables might cause a human clone to differ from the person who donated the genetic material? Cell division or is it more involved than that?

    Cloning

Would you predict that a clone produced as Dolly was would be a carbon copy of the animal from which the nucleaus was obtained? Just curious on what individuals thought.
  8. Thank you so much for clarifing this for me. I really do appreciate your knowledge.
  9. So are you saying that since radioactive oxygens atoms are used in both that they both would produce radioactive sugars and radioactive oxygen? Sorry this is my first biology class in 15 years
  10. If there is an experiment that is performed in which plant 1 is supplied with normal carbon dioxide but with water that contains radioactive oxygen atoms and plant 2 is supplied with normal water but with carbon dioxide that contains radioactive oxygen atoms, which plant would you expect to produce readioactive sugars, and which plant would you expect to produce radioactive oxygen gas? Also, each plant is allowed to perform photosynthesis. I know this has to do with the two steps of photosynthesis but I can figure out exact how. One plant begins with CO2 and the other with H2O so I would probably say Plant 1 would produce radioactive sugars and Plant 2 would produce radioactive oxygen gas. Is that correct or am I missing something? Please help me!!!!
  11. Can someone give me a few examples where energy is used in a cell?
  12. Thanks for your help.
  13. Which component of the Calvin-Benson cycle is recycled and why is this important for the light-independent reactions? I think the component is Ribulose Biphosphate (RuBP) but I could be wrong and if it is I don't know why it's important. Anybody have any insight on this?
  14. Does anybody know the comparison and contrast of the processes of cellular respiration and photosynthesis? I can't quite seem to grasp this one. Help!
