quite simply because the starter uses more juice than the battery and loom can supply at ~13.8V, it`s right at the very limits, that`s why it`s never a good idea to keep trying to turn the engine over on fault.

A 6-year old and a 4-year old are upstairs in their bedroom. "You know what?" says the 6-year old. "I think it's about time we started cussing." The 4-year old nods his head in approval. The 6-year old continues, "When we go downstairs for breakfast, I'm gonna say something with hell and you say something with ass." The 4-year old agrees with enthusiasm. When the mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6-year old what he wants for breakfast, he replies, "Aw, hell, Mom, I guess I'll have some Cheerios." WHACK! He flies out of his chair, tumbles across the kitchen floor, gets up, and runs upstairs crying his eyes out, with his mother in hot pursuit, slapping his rear with every step. His Mom locks him in his room and shouts, "You can stay there until I let you out!" She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4-year old and asks with a stern voice, "And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?" "I don't know," he blubbers, "but you can bet your fat ass it won't be Cheerios!!"

you really should see your Doctor with Any medical concerns rather than get "advice" from the internet.

Paul Merton, Emo Philips for sure, Rita Rudner`s a giggle too.

evidently this thread has come to a natural end as it has strayed into silliness. Closed.

that`s why water of crystalisation is usually specified, ie/ CuSO4.5H2O

No not exactly, but something like a Stargate could probably exist.

How to precipitate Fe2O3 from Sulfate solutions?
YT2095 replied to astambunan's topic in Applied Chemistry
I can`t think of anyway to get the Oxide out with a single wet chem rxn. Hydroxide or Carbonate perhaps, and then heating the dry ppt to decompose seems to be the only route I can think of right now. although Iron Sulphate will undergo ariel oxidation and decompose directly into the oxide given time. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedshould have used HCl instead of sulphuric, it would have been loads easier -
after a close call a little while back, I found that taking Snuff totally gets rid of the cravings and constant agitation/stress that were still present a Month after being quit. so I`m still addicted to Nicotine, but I`m not killing my heart and frying my lungs.

Ehem! it was a megger was it not?

the Grade is important, Cosmetics grade would cost several orders of magnitude more than Thermit/Pyro grade stuff

it was moved there for the same reason that This thread doesn`t belong in "Biology" either! and I`ll keep moving it to there as long as you carry on with your pseudo-drug-induced nonsense that has become typical of your postings lately. capito!

car batts are harder to take appart than you think, but a band saw helps no end don`t forget there`s plenty lead to be had in the terminals and Under the top of the batt connecting to the terminals, the plates themselves hold the least lead. it`s a shitty job and unless you plan on doing 100`s at a time (a days work with 2 of you) it`s not really worth the effort.

Making Copper(Cupric) Chloride or Copper Oxide(CuO)?
YT2095 replied to Marine12320's topic in Inorganic Chemistry
I make my copper salts (and oxide) from the carbonate starting point. effectively made from a soluble copper salt (nitrate in my case) and potassium carbonate you can use sodium carbonate too. heating the dry copper carbonate will give you your black copper oxide -
don`t worry about it, I get that all the time in Photography and it`s quite harmless. if you Know you have a spill on you and where it is, you can dab some Hypo (sodium thiosulphate) on the area and that will stop the black (silver particles) marking your skin, once it reacts and changes color though it`s too late and you have to wait a week or 2 for the stain to come out. Gold in the form of Chloride is another such chem, only that gives you a Purple/black stain instead.

it Really gets confusing when someone such as myself is Both an evolutionist and a creationist (if you Must use labels). although personally I don`t care what people call me, it`s what I answer to that counts
-
you`de need something Inteligent to do that, beyond the capability of todays computers. we have Many threads that do get looked at for weeks/months and sometimes years and would be perfectly fine to post in. how would it parse a lame digging up of the dead from an entry into the Battery LED challenge or the SFN Yearbook?
-
probably Zinc Sulphide based then.

Good choice!
