I really don't understand the link between this kind of god and christianism: you mainly tell me to believe in Chaos. That is why I tell everybody here that the Big Bang Theory is a creationist theory. No-one seems to understand.

other. explain below (without entering Zeno's paradox): I think time is relative. IMHO Time has a beginning for any observator and has an end for any observator. Both ends are horizons. The word "observator" may drive into misunderstanding. "Observator" does not mean "Human Being" or "Intelligent Being", observator here mean "a participant of the Universe", i.e. any body, any particle.

IMHO the balloon analogy is not a good one. When the balloon inflates, the distance between the points increase, but the points itselfs increase as well. In the balloon analogy, everything increase. It is a scale-factor analogy that involves even the inside "structure" of the point. It is not a representation that matches what is stated in the standard model. A better analogy is the raisin-cake: the raisin itself is not influenced by the scale factor and represents correctly the gravitationaly bound object, i.e. the galaxy cluster.

I never involve God. I don't understand why we have to go into this. I have a lot of questions but I never never never wait for a godlike answer.
-
You mean space between objects that are not gravitationaly bound. IIRC , following the standard model, only space between galaxy clusters is expanding.
-
nope. I thought that gravitationaly bounded bodies were not expanding.

Yes, I didn't know that. I had a dream that a Human Right was like an aura surrounding a Human Being. As it looks, it is not the case. So I was wrong when I said "that is not the case" in post #20 I should have stated: Liberty of Speech does not exist in your house also, at work & at church. Otherwise it lis like saying entering a house, an enterprise or a church, you diminish your own rights, you become less human, and that is not the case. ----------------------------------------------- Back to the legal issue: From Forum Rules: I am not a lawyer, but that looks to me quite close to the definition of a Public Forum.

After some search, it looks you are right if you are in the U.S. from this paper(author Stein, Laura)* at page 20-21, after analyzing some cases, the author concludes: Although the Internet may have functioned as a forum for public expression since its inception, its status as a new medium has disqualified it from being a traditional public forum. Additionally, the deference given to the governments intent to limit speakers or speech online and the weakness of the reasonableness test has prevented the courts from categorizing these spaces as designated public forums. Consequently, the courts have conceptualized public property online as proprietary spaces in which the public speaks at the discretion of the government. If you are in the U.K., as it seems, things may be different. IMHO you should ask a lawyer. *Stein, Laura. "Speech Without Rights: The Status of Public Space on the Internet" Paper presented at the annual meeting of the International Communication Association, TBA, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, May 22, 2008 <Not Available>. 2010-11-12 <http://www.allacademic.com/meta/p228714_index.html>

I suppose #2 was ment to say "no creation". Under this premise, the Universe always existed and will exist forever, it was never created.

Not acceptable answers are ( I think so): 1. when the dropped object is lighter than air. 2. when the object is a sheet of paper & you drop it in the center of a hurricane. 3. when the object is a bird.(a living one) 4. when the object is an airplane.(with pilot) 5. when the object is a helicopter.(see before) 6. when the object is dropped from a ship (it will fall to sea and not to earth, there is a capital letter missing at earth) 7. when the object is dropped on Mars. (after correcting the capital) 8. ...?

I looks to me there is a difference here. On a Forum like this, Moderators cannot act prior to publication. The Forum is somehow obliged to accept anything and then must deal with the "trash". Whish is not an easy work to do. What I really do not appreciate is the act of deleting posts. Moderators have the ability to send posts in the trash can, and they can ban members. I don't understand the use of deleting, IMHO it is like saying "that trash never existed, it never happened". The trash-poster gets pissed, and other forum members live in an ideal world. It is like wearing blinders with sunglasses. And from a legal point of vue, when a country protects HR in its juridiction, I suspect that juridiction goes into any compartment without exception. Liberty of Speech exists in your house also, at work & at church. Otherwise it lis like saying entering a house, an enterprise or a church, you diminish your own rights, you become less human, and that is not the case. Of course, the way you use this right is up to you, it may come in conflict with others people right, and you may encounter problems. You may be driven outside but no-one has the right to make you shut up. And deleting posts is a manner of making people shut up.

The question is really about legality. When subscribing to this Forum, we must agree the rules. It is a kind of agreement, a contract between the member & the Forum's staff. My question is about the legality of an agreement that goes against a Human Right. IIRC you cannot make any contract that goes against the Law.

No. It does not go that way. First, a line is a geometrical entity that has no surface. a line of 10 cm length has no surface because surface needs a second dimension (a width) that a line (in geometry) do not possess. When you reduce the width of a surface so that it becomes oblong and look like a line, you always get a surface. When you reduce the width of any surface and gets zero width, you obtain a line of infinite length, like any other line. Now, when you put a width to your line, from a geometrical point of vue, it is not a line anymore, it is a surface. Then you can have a surface of 10 cm long & 3 cm width (30cm^2) that will fit into your square. But you can also have a surface of 100 cm long and 0,3 cm width, equal to the precedent (30cm^2), that will not fit into the square.

On this Forum, it is well known & openly declared that freedom of speech does not exist. Is it legal? I had a look at the wikipedia article about freedom of speech in which it is mentioned that: "The right to freedom of speech is recognized as a human right under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). The ICCPR recognizes the right to freedom of speech as "the right to hold opinions without interference. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression."[1][2] Furthermore freedom of speech is recognized in European, inter-American and African regional human rights law." especially interesting is the part about the Internet, where nothing is mentioned about moderation into specialized Forums. I guess the Staff must have a legal advisor that could answer the question.

Not being a believer myself, the test gave me the impression it was its hidden agenda. As an atheist, each question that begins with " if God ...) was automatically answered by "false" without much thinking. That makes 70% of the test really easy. That was the reason of my comment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- P.S. Although "He" acted following the rules, I really don't like the abrupt way some other forum's member was rejected from the discussion. I hope he will come back again after succeeding his 50 posts corvée.

I wonder if a true believer can pass this test without harm. IMHO it has been made by atheist for atheists and it is just a game not to be taken too seriously.

Again, what is the mystery?
-
Objects A & B are smaller than the square and extend out of it.
-
Impossibility of non-existence. Does that count?
-
The small object can move as much as its difference with the square, I mean 10 cm minus 3 cm= 6 cm in width & length as you say. The same goes for the big object: it can move 10 cm minus 9,9 cm = 0,1 cm. Where is the mystery?
