Yep, it is not uncommon for me to spend $1500-$2000 for 4 bearings to go in a high volume blower. Then again, I get about $5000-$6000 for a rebuild on one of those so it's really not coming out of my pocket
Which one is it? First you say, "without wind there is no convection" and then you say that you didn't say that and that convection causes wind.
Frankly, I'll agree with your 2nd statement that convection causes wind which proves that it is convection that drives wind farms. Convection is not dependent on wind so wind farms have no effect on convection. Thank you for proving yourself wrong.
Your own links show that convection causes wind, not that wind causes convection as you claimed. That wind depends on convection and not the reverse. Please back up your claim. Please prove to us that the very links that refute your claim are wrong.
I challenge you to support those assertions based on the rules of this forum. I will be particularly interested in your proof that convection requires wind. Also the details on the huge thick layer of CO2 you claim to exist.
Actually they do since 12 inches equals 1 foot. They are identical triangles where only the units of measure have changed. The OP is claiming that the hypotenuse of the first is rational and the second irrational.
The tapered bearing will have a little more rolling friction than a similarly rated angular contact ball bearing generally. More important though is that you have the means to get the rotating assembly balanced. 1 kg spinning that fast could be quite dangerous if it comes apart.
Could you please point out where that claim was made? Looking back through the thread I don't see where the claim was made that you are alleging to disagree with.
Some are. Some are very aggressive. It seems to be a hardwired thing by species. All pink toes are skittish for instance and all the usumbaras I've encountered were mean as hell.
Localized warming over wind farms IS NOT GLOBAL WARMING!!! I can't believe you can't see that. Global warming is warming on a planet wide scale. Do you really not understand that?
My birds cages remain open and they are free to do as they wish. They seem to like my company and the treatment I give them. Both were given to me so I do not have them by choice. If I thought they could survive and I had the means to get them to their native habitats and release them I would. Unfortunately the Caique is a captive bred animal that has never lived in the wild and the Grey has been in captivity for 30 years that I know of. I suspect neither would make it long in the wild.
Not at all. You cannot use localized measurements to extrapolate system wide effects. a temperature rise in one area could very likely correlate with a temperature drop in another.
Windmills don't move the wind anywhere, the wind moves the windmills where the windmills are situated. Windmills on the ground are turned by wind on the ground. They don't go up into higher altitudes and bring the wind down to the ground to turn them. Is that what you want us to believe that you're trying to suggest?
