  1. So, you claim that it moves through the rod at the speed of light regardless of the material, huh? That sounds like a claim that we know all there is to know about any and all materials....
  2. Imagine a much simpler mechanism, a long crystalline pole, effectively incompressible. When you push one one end of the pole the whole thing moves. Now imagine there is a button at the other end of the pole that is operated when you push on the pole, i.e. you push on one end and simultaneously the button is operated at the other end. If this pole is 300km long how long will it take for the information to push the button be propagated from one end of the pole to the other since the button is effectively pushed at the time time that you input the energy to push it at the opposite end?
  3. You have to use the "Attach a file" function to do it in the web interface. You could also setup pop access and use your favorite email client.
  4. I've got pictures in gmail dated back to 9/04. I've never had any problems with my account there....
  5. IMO, the phrase "In God We Trust" is effectively a declaration that God exists because it is meaningless without a belief in God. I wonder if such cases are truly given an unbiased consideration by deist judges...

    Water Fuel

It does. Some of the allegedly converted water burns off as hyddrogen and oxygen. SOme of it goes back to being water. Is there some reason you keep thinking that he's getting back as much water as he's putting in? That's the only way your "nothing" claim holds up.
  7. I've found that running my own DNS server often resolves this problem. On Linux configure BIND. On Windoze I'd try installing TreeWalk, a Windoze implementation of BIND, to see if your problems go away...

    Water Fuel

Yes. I think he's basically claiming that he is storing energy in water by converting it to a supposed HHO magnecule using some new electrolysis method and this substance creates H2O when burned....

    RealPlayer

In Windows Explorer, hold down the shift key and right click on one of the files. Select "Open With..." and you will get a dialog to choose what program to open the file with. Choose Media Player from the list or browse for Media Player. Check the box at t he bottom of the dialog box that says something like, "Use for all files of this type" (not sure, it's been years since I used '98) and hit OK. It should then set all files of that type to open with Media Player.
  10. No, use apache...
  11. Bush is acting more and more like a divider instead of a uniter.....
  12. That sounds like a pretty cheap place you work for there. Cheating people out of their sale is not very ethical to save $50 or very professional either.
  13. 'Tried TypSoft? SlimFTPd? Then again, you might try learning to use Google before you try setting up an FTP server. It's real handy for finding stuff like this
  14. It still makes it easier to work on once it's seperarted from the rest of the computer. With the keyboard free where I can let the runoff go somewhere other than the rest of the computer, I just spray them down generously with contact cleaner and use an old toothbrush to scrub any spots on the keys. A ca of compressed air usually finishes the job nicely.
  15. This thread reminds me of meat trees....
  16. I'm beginning to think the problem might lie somewhere other than the battery or the wire.....
  17. On most laptops you can remove one or two screws from the back and the whole keyboard will pop out...
  18. How much resistance? Are you connecting the ammeter in series with your wires? What range is the ammeter adjusted to?

    William Jefferson

Did anyone notice that this guy's name is the same as Clinton's first and middle names, i.e. William Jefferson Clinton, our 42nd President?
  20. Are youi suggesting that you would get an honest answer from M$ if IE could be removed?
  21. There's a patch for that here....
  22. It's almost moot anymore. I bought an LG 1GB drive at Sam's for $49 3 or 4 months ago and now I see xPCGear has 1GB drives for $24. Flash drive prices are falling like a rock.....
  23. MIT OpenCourseWare | Mathematics
  24. I've still got some punch cards from the '70's that still have the data I saved on them too...

    Water Fuel

Their science paper says, "Samples of the HHO gas can be obtained at any time by contacting Hydrogen Technology Applications, Inc. at their website www.hytechapps.com."
