  1. umm... thanx for that wolfson, I already know that What about the two questions I asked first?
  2. pity? :confused:Fun? What fun???
  3. ok. I think because of the small number of atoms that would be involved. I think 17 atoms would be too small for anything
  4. Would it make a snap or something, or would it be unnoticed?
  5. Take a look at a simple addition polymerisation reaction: http://dragonslair.europe.webmatrixhosting.net/Science/Chemistry/Hydrocarbons/polymer.htm Its from my website itself. See the formula that can be used to show the polymers in a row. Now, I have two questions about this: a) Bonds are formed during polymerisation, so, is the reaction exothermic? b)What about the atoms that lie at the end of the chain? What about their side bonds that is supposed to link to other atoms? What happens to them? I don't want an answer like "There are millions, so these are ignored", however, I want to know the facts!
  6. Even 17 atoms, like YT said?
  7. Why, what would you do with it? What could you do with it! Except for making millions!
  8. cool! What about caesium hydroxide, won't that be stronger than KOH?
  9. lol! I wish I could get a dog like that!
  10. ok. And alkalis have OH- ions? And the same thing for alkalis. The stronger the ability to dissociate, the stronger the alkali?
  11. lol. I told you it, because I can't work it out I'm only at GCSE level!
  12. lol. Let's not try and prove it, like we always do in science!
  13. OH, ok. So the stronger the acid, the higher its ability to dissociate.
  14. The link was pointed out to her anyway by Tesseract
  15. The guiness book said that a 50% concentration is like 1000 times stronger than concentrated sulphuric acid. This is different to the pH, right?
  16. Nothing on google too, it takes me directly back to the science forums archive I guess only Wolfson knows. As for the strongest acid, I read that it was Antimony (not atinymonkey ) pentafluoride dissolved in hydrofluoric acid!
  17. why? We are second if you search Science forums, right after AV science forums. which I was told has nothing to do with science. The longer and mroe we post questions, the higher we are likely to find others who have the same problem. It is just a matter of time before we become the best.
  18. oh wow, we have gone off topic. I even frogot the name of the originial poster! Sara*, do you have a science textbook, get the answers from there! The easiet way, it helps me with my homework too!
