Very true. Thinking about it, all stars are mostly, or almost completely made pup of plasma. It was something like 99.7% or something of our universe was plasma. Most people would think gasses.

Respiration and photosynthesis are completely two different process. Respiration has absolutely nothing to do with light, and that is why light doesn't affect it. As for photosynthesis, it cannot happen without light, so, obviously, the more light you put in, the faster it becomes, to a certain point, look back at the example i gave with the sheep. Now think about a wolf, put as much grass as you want, and yet nothing happens, because the wolf does not eat the grass. The wolf is your resiration process

Well, light intensity affects the rate of photosynthesis only because there is more light available for hte plant to use. It doesn't have an effect on the energy there. Think of it like this: There is a sheep in a farm. Let's say that this sheep is your plant. IF you provide it with food (which is the light that you are giving to the plant) then it will eat. The more food you give it, the more it ill grow and get fatter. The light is something called a limiting factor because, as the light increases, the photosynthesis that plant does increases. The more light, the more photosynthesis. Is that what you are looking for?

dwolf, could you please explain what you are trying to say. This is what I think it is going at: If you look at a star that is 4 light years away (for example) the light that is reaching your eyes shows you the star, 4 years ago. This is because the light that has been emitted from the star TODAY, hasn't reached you yet and won't reach you until 4 years from now. The rest of it I didn't undeerstand,he is talking about some way of acutally mapping the universe using this information!

That's prbably what he meant. In my terms, it would be "balancing an Ionic equation". I think in all neutralisation reactios, it is (H+)+ (OH-) ---> H2O I put the brackets in so to distinguish each ion!

Well, won't 0 resistance mean that electricity won't be changed to heat? I would think that a higer resistance 'wastes' electricity, and what it is wasted to is heat! So, more resistance -> more heat -> LOTS of heat -> wire melting!
