  1. how does that work??? Or is this one of ur jokes
  2. I have an idea, what about if you use a special chat room for that. Won't that work, the only thing is that the conversation won't be recorded. Or can it?
  3. Why doesn't a larger chunk of magnesium burn that easily? Is it because it needs a higher amount of activation energy?
  4. Thanx alot. Amazing link!
  5. doesn't that take really special equipment? Also, how big is the gas centrifuge?
  6. oh ok. sorry . Its yet a foolsih thing to do, becuase if lots of it does damage to ur body, then, won't a little of it do a little damage to ur body?
  7. How to they separate uranium 238 from 235? One of them is three neutrons heavier! How do they do it? Is there a way of taking out three neutrons from 238 to become 235?
  8. Is that because it needs a higher activation energy?
  9. your welcome I'm not really sure whether there really is a lab test to distiguish cyclohexene only
  10. hmm... pretty long procedure i should say !
  11. hmm... another way to do it is to find out the boiling point of cyclohexene, and then try and boil the two substances. or If you had an idea which of the alkenes were used, you cold burn the two and see. The more crbon atoms, the smokier the flame
  12. yeah. 30 years is nothing! considering that you start it when you are 15, at the age of 45, you'd have done damage. And that is what is expected by many people. It doesn't destroy your knuckles so badly that you can't move them on the first day
  13. well, it really depends on what you mean by 'mentoring', if it means answering questions, SF already has that facility. I, for example, ask questions relating to my GCSE course. If it means teaching, then, it would be really difficult for the two, or more members to meet at the same time over here, because of the fact that SF is very wide-spread among people in different countries. This is just my opinion on this, but, its a great idea. The thing that may stop this from happening maybe the difficulty in putting it all together
  14. you are using the word 'learn'. Doesn't that mean that you don't need to do it? Are you getting tension in the spine that you need to 'learn' how to actually crack it?
  15. yeah, ur right, if one ant finds its way to food, all the other ants can find it becuase of that trail. I don't really know the chemicals that are involved in that, its something that ants can pick up. That is why they tend to walk one behind another when carryong food, or even looking for it
  16. can u? I thought you can just get a general idea as a sentence on how many they have. Can you actually see the quantity?
  17. yeah, physics tries to say how an atom works and what it is, while chemistry just says what happens when two atoms are mixed together.
  18. hmmm.... things were much simpler long ago. The more we advance, the more complicated things get!
  19. lol. well, better luck next time
  20. oh ok! by the way, its not moneypoo, its mooeypoo
  21. then, why does the physics study it? I said that because i do that in physics!
