well, no, it has about 15 topics that are covered in complete detail. Then some questions to be answered (similar to this forum) and some other neat stuff. Really good. There are ads, but not many
well gene, im only doing GCSE at the moment quite shocking though. But I LOVE organic chemistry, so i posted questions on stuff, people replied me and i thought it was a good thing to put on the website. i have actually thnked YT and wolfson as they are the top 2 who were helping me. What do u think about my website? Any improvements?
no, i was actually revising and thought of these questions! Honestly, i know it was a long chain of questions. Don't worry, trust me, cause i have another chain waiting!!! lol
Recently, i think, scientists were able to make the first compound that had a noble gas in. Xenon tetrafluoride. Well, what is its formula? Is it ionically or covalently bonded?
The displayed formula if polystyrene looks very similar to a poly ethene molecule.
The only difference is that it has a ring of 6 carbons.
Here is the quiestion:
Are the carbons connected by double bonds? If not, then where is the 4th bond, as each carbon will only have 3 bonds connected to it
Correct me if I'm wrong. Boiling is when all the particles in a liquid have enough energy to escape.
If this is so, why doesn't the liquid boil off all at once. ie it disappears instantly when it reaches boiling point?
How come iron and copper each form two different ions?
I think iron forms 2+ and3+ while copper forms 1+ and 2+
How is this possible? I thought elements form their own ion!!!
