  1. Maybe you should try it out. Why don't you prove it?
  2. What is the fraction of association?
  3. Oh my... The numbers are driving me crazy. Are you supposed to derive the no. of hydrogen atoms, taking it over a unit volume and multiplying it by a negative logarithm? Alkalies and acids when mixed together form a neutral salt, right? That is pH7. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedOh yeah, sorry for diverting from the topic. You're on the right track anyway.
  4. I think... Helium. Yeah Helium. Helium's superfluid form and its stability (being a noble gas) is quite unique. That's why I like it. I think that is the king. Next? Uranium is the next king as it is cool! Francium as it is super reactive. I'm just suggesting. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedOkay fine, I vote for HELIUM.
  5. Time travel is relatively IMPOSSIBLE. Travelling at light speed requires a lot of energy and it only causes time to stop. To control time? Time is not individual. Travelling back in time is impossible. Travelling forth? You practically cannot. This is due to the fact that you cannot barge forth into time. You can't slow your speed to that level. As a matter of fact, you are time-travelling now. But, it is so slow, you think it is normal. You can stop time? No. You can speed up time? Y-yes. But, it does not make sense. Time does not judge events. So, you can't make concrete predictions on the events if ever we were to time-travel.
  6. Obviously: [math]\sqrt{y}[/math] is [math]\geq 0[/math] Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedUnless y is 0, sqrt(y) is greater than 0. Tell me a number like that which is less than zero. Negative numbers? You'd get negative numbers. Is Y a composite? A positive? Whatever it is; I think listening to D H and ajb is the best way to go.
  7. Mathematics is beautiful; You can feel it if you do it relaxed.
  8. What I am trying to say is that x, a, b and c are whole, composite, natural and positive numbers. They are algebraic values. You need to find out the smallest possible value of that (the bottom equation) in such a way that it satisfies the above equation. I bracketed it so as to prevent confusion between x(algebraic value) and x(operation). It means multiplied into.
  9. Here is a proof; The rearrangement of the triangles is a visual proof. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedSorry the link didn't pop up; here is the link; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Pythag.gif Cheers!
  10. Actually if you think about it; How can tomorrow never come? If tomorrow never comes, today never was.
  11. Relative velocity is how we are seeing things right? So how does one go about calculating relative velocities? I need a rebrush on my kinematics!
  12. Yes, you can see a photon if you can ever slow it down to human-like speeds. The slowest light has travelled is 38 miles/hour. They used laser cooling to slow down and freeze the photons.(Slightly.) The photon was not anything physical; it was just a little dot.
  13. Dipoles are like tiny magnets; they can be broken down even further to make more magnets. But inside those dipoles are no quadpoles or things like that. They are the elementary. You can cut a quark or lepton in half, but unlike when you cut a particle containing quarks, I do not think you are going to get anything or go anywhere. However,I'm not quite sure.
  14. In the following equation, [math]\frac{x(a)}{2}[/math] = [math]\frac{x(b)}{3}[/math]= [math]\frac{x©}{4}[/math], what is the smallest possible value of: [math]\frac{a+b+c+x}{2}[/math] In my case, I got 9.5. Are there any lower answers?
  15. Is it even possible? If it asexually reproduces, it produces offspring with exactly the same set of genes. There is a 0% probability. IA Ia Inone A a Inone A a Where is AA in the next generation? Am I wrong?
