  1. Well you have a good idea, it only need perfection. If you are using tap water then, I think you should use a dynamo which can be easily obtained from bicycles-and they are normally rated 6V 24W meaning they give out about 4A. This energy is big enough to run a few electrical appliances such as phone chargers, electric lamps with low wattage and radios. And with some electronics you can use this hydro energy to run your laptop. Wont you be wasting the water? May be no. You can place your dynamo-turbine in an enclosed case such that the water through it is used for other purposes- while watering your garden or washing your car you may thus be getting free electricity to charge your phone battery or laptop, or lanterns. If you plan this project well it will result into something useful as I have just explained. I wish you best of luck and in case of drawbacks or further clarification don't hesitate to post a question.
  2. I went through your website, too bad I could not see the images, something which made me anxious to visit the website. I should wish you best of luck though.
  3. Clever idea, but i think it will not be effective or at least produce desired effect. I think you will need more energy to make water give enough steam to turn a turbine-giving power that is used somewhere. At the end of the day you will end up with very low current and that will not give you satisfactory marks. Give it more thinking and you may come up with something more useful.keep it up.
  4. thanks for the video. I have noticed two things from that video that can be perfected to make the maniac work even better. First that truck is too heavy, it has a lot of heavy irons that i find not necessary for my intended model. And secondly the blades do not have suitable length for speed and control. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedyou are right but, as it stand we need more models for sports and leisure, i also think that even boats were not that perfect at the beginning, we can improve this thing.thanks.
  5. There was that day when i got curious, and asked myself whether we could have a car like model to float and move in water as near as a car does on road. Well i had to construct a small model to ascertain this proposition. In place of tyres I used light weight closed cans fixed with two blades each, then i connected rear cans with motor to turn them at a small speed. The maniac floated and also moved nicely. The question now comes, can this model be perfected to have a water car used for sports, leisure or tour?i think this can be made possible,I want you guys to give your critiques and suggestions on this. Those who would want to know more on this, just send me a private message. wish you all best of luck.
  6. well i studied that long time ago, but part of brain that is responsible for reasoning controls voluntary actions, for example picking a pen. this part receives and process commands, something like what a CPU does. For further explanations go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain
