his evaluation of what you said was very clear. try answering his points, explaining where you don't understand what he's on about where nescessary.

you'll have to tell me if that works, this shower curtain is far too wrinkled to have any effect
-
my main criticism was the system itself - though again I shouldn't generalise really as a certain amount of that also depends on the policy of the teachers and schools.

I remember being that young

I'm looking forward to the emergence of OLED technology.. flexible displays and whatnot. should be cool: http://www.cdtltd.co.uk http://www.universaldisplays.com amongst others. if anyone wants to ask anything about these, ask away... I know a fair bit.

aah but then the air has to go somewhere. I think it is just the warmer air rising over the top of the curtain, and the cooler air just pushing the curtain out the way in order to replace all the warm air that has just left.

I came across these little marvels doig a biology course last year, but they were just briefly described as Introns being the parts of a gene that are spliced in for protein synthesis, and exons are spliced out. I also came across another article regarding fruit flies I think it was, where they have shown that by skipping different Introns, one gene can code for several different proteins. anyone any idea of how this mechanism works, and if it is employed to any significant degree in higher animals.

you want to view yourself in the third person? I do that every day when I brush my teeth - look in a mirror

we aren't the guy taking McDonalds to court because he didn't know that fast food made him fat. we aren't stupid. can you show us the sources?
-
could you actually defend each of the thirtysomething points that MrL discussed zarkov?
-
the key would be an entirely random key though.
-
you could use it for encryption though, and effectively send a key at up tp 2c.

the guy who just posted. (someone sayonara nad I know from another forum)

he will rip you apart.

Organophosphate based weapon synthesis?
Radical Edward replied to fafalone's topic in Inorganic Chemistry
yes yes, I know all about this you take [classified] ingredients, and mix them together in [classified] proportions in a [classified]. Then pop it all in a good sturdy tray, and stick it in the oven on gas mark three for two hours. Don't open the oven or you will die a horrible death. actaully, I don't know a thing about it, heh, sorry ^^ -
I thought the point of a vegetative state was that your brain wasn't working, somewhat easing the suffering....
-
right, so playing God is terrible, people have to suffer with terminal illness, but you condone murdering criminals? there's an interesting contradiction (you may guess I am against the Death penalty) Wasn't one of God's commandments 'thou shall not kill'?
-
I had a suspicion that someone would point out that the world is not black and white. Your example for instance, and say, people with mental illness..... I don't know.... I couldn't say. I guess people with terminal and often painful conditions are easy to categorise, since they are going to die soon and both you and they know it. but someone who is just fed up of life in general.... well lets hope that is something that none of us have to live with.

the ripped to shreds thing is usually regarded as the result of tidal forces, in that the force of gravity at your feet is hundreds of times the force of gravity at your head. hence you get somewhat spaghettified. however this is only the result of small black holes that are a few solar masses. if you grind your way though the general relativistic equations however, you find that the density required to overcome the electromagnetic, and stron force actually degreases as the total mass increases. hence, and this is one of the reasons why a super-massive black hole is postulated as being at the centre of the galaxy, you can actually have a very disperse medium becoming a black hole. In short, if you fall into a big enough black hole, you can actually fall over the event horizon and not suffer all that much. Of course you look 'down' and see black, as no light can ever reach you

this is something that I haven't talked about there. heh, I will discuss it after zarkov (not pa's zarkov is it?) has voiced his opinion. well invite MrL if you like, shame he isn't here as he knows his stuff.

unregistered up there is me, I forgot to log in again :/

it is beyond 'not all there yes' so far I haven't even seen one tenable point.

how would you go about explaining the force experienced by two infinitely long (or lets just say long enough to ignore end effects) parallel wires along which a current flows. how would you explain the force felt by one electron on another how would you explain the force felt by one proton on another (at long distances, lets ignore the strong force for now) how woul you explain the force felt by an electron on a proton? why is the 'magnetism' intrinsic in neutrons not measurable, why are they not affected by electric and magnetic fields? this statement "I think magnetism is the fundamental force and electricity is the derivative. So as such electricity can be monopolar." makes no sense, because electrical fields can exist without magnetic fields, but the converse is not true.

that site gives me a headache to look at.

you need maths, there is no point carrying on unless you have the maths there. wandering round saying 'this theory predicts these effects' while never properly explaining the tenets of the theory and how they apply to the problem, namely the mathematical results will not get you anywhere. I am still wondering about your earlier assertation that neutrons are the source of this magnetic field. where is your evidence for this? neutrons are chargeless - that is why they are called neutrons (neutral). they are not affected by electrical fileds at all, this is why they were discovered so late. also, if it is the magnetic field that generates everything, then how come there are no magnetic monopoles, and yet there are electrical poles which impose an electrical force on objects with charge, regardless of whether they are spinning. If it is this supposed magnetic force that leads to gravity, then what is the actual relation between the two? you have essentially said that you have unified electromagnetism and gravity. how do the strong and weak forces and their associated charge carriers relate to all of this?
