  1. so a concave mirror would send both beams in the same direction?
  2. i've thought about an arrangement like that but mirror 3 would reflect the light from mirrors 1 and 2 in different directions
  3. i've been trying to arrange this but have been having trouble finding a layout that allows for one final beam. i'm designing a project where the video from two laser video projectors can be combined into a single projection through the use of mirrors and reflections. any suggestions?
  4. is there a simple arrangement of mirrors that would be able to combine two individual beams of light into one single beam?
  5. what happens if you put a mirror infront of a laser video projector? will the video be reflected like normal light would?
  6. why does it have to be a natural source? If we can create them, would that not be enough to use them?
  7. Do you think it could be possible to use these anti-elements as an energy source?
  8. ^ This is the kind of thing I'm really interested about. I understand what anti-elements are, but are there any practical reasons for using anti-elements? Do they do anything unique as compared to regular elements?
  9. What exactly are anti-elements, and do anti-elements have any specific properties that a regular element would not have?
  10. I think we are always able to taste and smell in our dreams, but I feel that these aspects of dreams are the least notable or recognizable (compared to visual and auditory perceptions), and therefor are usually not remembered as clearly upon waking. Personally, I've recalled tastes and scents from many dreams, especially during lucid dreams. Once, while I was laying in bed before falling asleep, I was having thoughts about strawberry flavored cigars that I often smoke. While these thoughts were going through my head I got a very strong and distinct scent of this wonderful strawberry flavor (and there were clearly no cigars present). I assume that because of having strong thoughts about these cigars, my brain triggered this perception. This is the only time I can remember something like this ever happening to me, so I find it very strange and interesting.
  11. I'll attempt to refine this, but it can be difficult to put into words. We live in 3 dimensional space (X, Y, Z). All are perpendicular to each other. There is the idea of 4 Dimensional space, which can be explained fairly clearly through the hypercube. I've read (from sources that I can no longer find) that areas in space can have up to 26 dimensions, meaning 26 perpendicular points, which would be impossible for us to visually comprehend. My question is, since it generally accepted that these multi-dimensional areas of space exist, where would they be? and how can this be proven? Please let me know if I'm incorrect in the way I'm seeing this, because that is pretty likely.
  12. That is completely correct. That's why it is extremely important to be mentally prepared, and responsible for any type of hallucinogenic experience you may have. They are not to be taken lightly! Know yourself, know your source.
  13. I see it this way. The disgusting river symbolises the disgusting act of sex. The fact that he is fishing in this river shows his new experiments with this act (new girlfriend). When he catches the heavy fish, he is experiencing something from sex that is drawing him in, and very difficult to avoid. Being in the very shallow water may be showing him that this disgusting act isn't as horrible as he may have once thought, but seems to have difficulty accepting this. The women in the river could represent all the others who do not find this disgusting the way he does. The whale rushing at them could the man's belief that something horrible will come from this act, though people do not realize this, or seem to care. close?
  14. I often hear that deep in space, there are areas with dimensions exceeding our wimpy 3. I've read that there may be up to 26 dimensions. I know the basics of 4 dimensional space (ie. hypercubes), but 26? If this is true, where would these area be, and how would one be able to prove that such dimensions exist?
