  1. Very well, change "user" for "system owner". Software it isn't. Malware it is. In the context of the original question I don't think there's much doubt.

Count as what? Languages? Yes it is. You want to stop pushing your luck now.

English, Ancient Greek, Latin, French, Japanese, Egyptian hieroglyphs. Not necessarily in order of expertise, I hasten to add. I assume you meant non-machine languages Fascinating yet irrelevant. I know. That's what I am objecting to, and you can bet your obnoxious ass that he will too.
  4. No, it does. It's steak, kidney, gravy - all steamed in a pudding-shaped pastry shell. Sounds worse than it really is
  5. Never heard of weepers. We call them trainers (or athletic shoes, running shoes etc, if they have a specific sporting purpose). Usually a pudding is a dessert over here - sponge or gloppy stuff. Yorkshire puddings and steak and kidney puddings are so named because of the shape of the thing they are cooked in.
  6. A bit more southernly. I have a vague recollection of Blike asking for short bios, pics etc, but I can't remember if it was a thread or a PM.
  7. Can we leave viruses out of this? They are not software.
  8. Don't be mislead by the disjunction in the thread - I'm not holding out much hope that this particular sail is going to get very far.

Most countries do have the native language as an immigration requirement - it's usually asylum seekers who are not required to learn it.
  10. Bebop and Hellsing. Ninja Scroll was ok. Serial Experiments Lain was just... weird. Weird and a bit pointless.
  11. I will investigate these things of which you meatily squeal.
  12. I can't believe anyone still watches his films.
  13. Depends on what exactly happens when the thing reaches the boundary of the solar system. Theoretically it ought to have enough momentum by then to escape.
  14. Because if you posted a proper photo of me without my permission I'd do something nasty to your pillow, that's why.
  15. That's because Websters is a really poor dictionary.
  16. Wait, he is asking for the winning bidder's bank details?
  17. If a star goes over the limit, that suggests to me that the limit no longer applies to it. What with it being a limit and all.
  18. Flak, what exactly are you after?
  19. World War II was an absolutely inevitable conflict and was recognised as such by many governments. Iraq is not a war, it is an occupation, and as we discussed at great length in the "Those against the war in Iraq" thread, it was largely... evitable.
  20. I'm fairly certain it would, which is why I specified some "natural reservoir".
  21. But does language (or its absence) affect decision-making processes?
