  1. A møøse ønce bit my sister.
  2. Do you know, I have no idea. I never did anything with DNA in the lab. Bet the stupid genetics students did it all the time
  3. Or if your network is already impregnable
  4. That IS weird. (And has anyone seen YT since Wednesday?)
  5. Welcome back Daisy \o/ Did you do/see anything wacky, eh?
  6. I'm with you on things like "thru" (because as Mr Izzard says, we should be saying it "thruff"). But without the u in there, color should be pronounced "co-lore", which it clearly isn't. And what's with 'aluminum'?
  7. So make an "advantages of Opera" thread then. Jive turkey.
  8. The banner shows random advertisers or, if you prefer, google adwords.
  9. If it was, it would be behavioural rather than 'biological'.
  10. If you are just using the "majority" approach, then you must count 90% as being a majority (which excludes bisexuals, so it's not even close). If this is the case then redheads are "abnormal abberations" too, as on average they occur in the population with lower frequency than homosexuality. Hence why the Appeal to Common Practice is a bad idea.
  11. Opera is free, but you need to pay to get rid of the banner (unless you crack it). But this isn't the browser comparison thread

What Dave said. For Linux, Bluefish is pretty nice. For Windows avoid Coffee Cup like the plague. I use DWMX so I have no idea which free ones are good, but I heard good things about Arachnid. Or Spider. Well it was named after something with lots of legs.
  14. No, it's the opposite message. Yours implies that everyone else who speaks English is using a derivative of American English.
  15. Surely you mean "the USA is the only country that removes U's from English"?
  16. Aha! Not with Firefox's Bugmenot plugin! (Or you could just go to http://www.bugmenot.com)
  17. How can they say "chiefly British variant of color"? Wtf? Confusion over which came first, I think.
  18. If you upgraded to 0.9 from a previous build, there is a thread on mozilla's support forum that tells you how to do it without any hitches. Although having said that some of the themes are a bit buggy.
  19. Perhaps it means "five to fifteen parts of A", and you have to use cunning equations and such to work out the actual ratio.
  20. The non-observable parts of science are derived purely from first principles and are irreducable. They aren't just "things people came up with".
