There is a "3D" LCD display in development. It's super funky.
It relies on specific perspective, so there are stupid constraints on how it's used (EG you have to sit in a certain position and not move), but as usual once the technology is there some bright spark will figure out how to improve it.
Brainiac is the devil's television show.
It offends me as someone who has put the effort in to learn a great deal of information and methodology over more than a decade; to see some drivelling loon jumping about in a disused quarry claiming that science is boring, blowing up caravans with oxygen is the only fun bit, and 2 blokes in vests is an adequate sample group.
It's crapulent.
The orbitals of the planets do intersect horizontally, so they aren't completely in the same plane.
I would imagine that the gravitational attraction of the other planets could ease a 'rogue' planet's orbital into a similar plane to the others, but I suspect it has something to do with the disc of stellar matter from which planets form.

The "I'm feeling lucky" button just gives you the first result returned for the search phrase.

There is no trickery involved, I'm fairly sure of that. Nobody outside the company even knows how all of google's ranking and sorting works.
