I didn't say you were wrong, I said that the use of a linear model explained why your argument did not make sense.
It does not make sense in the same way that a movie would not make sense if it were viewed in the order in which the scenes were shot, not in the sense that it is 'incorrect'. Thinking of time travel as movement along an axis is too primitive an analogy to give an accurate idea of what is happening, which is why humans come up with these hilarious notions such as physical paradoxes and impossible causality arrangements.
I would not accuse you of being 'wrong' as I have as much evidence of this as you do that you are 'right'.
